Summer is my favourite time of year, I eagerly await the arrival<br />
of this year’s foals. Breeders up and down the country are<br />
brimming with hope and excitement for this year’s crop. I have<br />
been in this position, and I can safely say there is no feeling<br />
like seeing the foal you’ve waiting 11 months for, arrive safely<br />
and healthy. Perhaps you are thinking whether you should put<br />
your mare in foal this year? Check out our breeding feature<br />
looking at different methods, and also a tongue-in-cheek<br />
assessment of broodmares.<br />
Many of us would have experienced our arenas flooding<br />
over <strong>Spring</strong> and surfaces freezing over the past few months.<br />
I hope that you find our surface feature valuable, with some<br />
super advice from Leisure Ride Group on the different surface<br />
materials. It would be particularly valuable for those thinking<br />
about building an arena this year or adding to their surface.<br />
