2017: CYBERSECURITY
AT THE SPEED OF
BUSINESS

Infosecurity Europe is without doubt Europe's
main information security event and this year
the organisers expect to welcome more than
18,000 professionals and 360 global vendors
to Olympia, London, during 6 - 8 June. This
event will showcase and debate the latest
innovations and challenges in cybersecurity.
Over 240 expert speakers, including endusers,
policy makers, analysts, thought leaders
and government and law enforcement
representatives, will generously share their
knowledge and expertise.
This year's theme, Cybersecurity at the Speed
of Business, is set against a backdrop of global
economic and political uncertainty. This is
causing organisations to rapidly transform to
take advantage of new technology and
working practices in pursuit of enhanced
business agility, efficiency and profitability.
As organisations connect, evolve and digitise,
new attack vectors emerge that aid
sophisticated cybercriminals. The challenge is
to keep pace with the speed of business
change, evolve the maturity of the information
security function and reposition it as both a
business risk and a business enabler. At the
same time, the agile information security
function must be resourced with the skills and
talent to combat an increasingly complex
threat landscape.
Utilising eight theatres, both theory and
practice will be covered, offering credits for
CPE/CPD by ISC2, ISACA and EC-Council.
Speakers in the conference programme
include representatives from Digital Guardian,
FireEye, National Cyber Security Centre,
Panaseer, Rémy Cointreau, Royal Bank of
Scotland, Trend Micro, Tripwire, and
Veracode. The Information Security Exchange
and Intelligent Defence theatres are expected
to be popular.

of developing an agile security strategy to keep
pace with business transformation and the
threat landscape, offering strategic and tactical

Situated in the upstairs Gallery is the
Discovery Zone and the Cyber Innovation
Zones, featuring over 100 companies with
something new. The Discovery Zone will
introduce companies new to Infosecurity
Europe with presentations throughout the day
at the Cyber Innovation Showcase theatre.
New for 2017 is a seven-day, city-wide
landmark event bringing Infosecurity
professionals together to learn, explore and
have fun in and around London. Infosecurity
Week 2017 during 5 -11 of June will provide
a central portal listing for the many events,
parties, conferences, training and other
activities organised in London that week.
Accessing the portal will provide visitors with
what they need to plan their visit and derive the
most from this pivotal week through training,
