ESTRUCTURAL Y POR QUÉ
ERA NECESARIA?
La reforma tributaria (LEY 1819/2016) es
la dedicación del Gobierno Nacional para
modernizar el sistema tributario; para
brindarle simplicidad, progresividad y
equidad. Es estructural ya que se realizó
una revisión completa de la estructura de
los impuestos que pagan los
colombianos, enfocado en la
competitividad y evasión de impuestos.

WHY WAS IT NEEDED?
The tax reform (LAW 1819/2016) is the
dedication of the National Government
to modernize the tax system; To
provide simplicity, progressiveness

complete review of the structure of the
taxes paid by Colombians, focused on
competitiveness and tax evasion, was
carried out.
¿Y POR QUÉ LA REFORMA? A causa de
la caída de los precios del petróleo se
redujeron los ingresos del Gobierno, por
esta razón se hizo necesaria; para
fortalecer la economía del país. Además
de proteger la inversión social y
promover el empleo.
Los aspectos más importantes en esta
reforma son: Impuesto de renta, IVA,
evasión de impuestos, Monotributo.
El Monotributo será nuestro tema
principal a tocar en esta cartilla.
