Do you enjoy spending time with seniors? Autumn Grove Cottage is
an assisted living facility for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia
related illnesses. We are interested in volunteers socializing with our
Residents. We are a small cottage, close to your neighborhood, with
just 16 Residents. If you would like to volunteer in a cozy, home-like

HOUSTON CHILDREN’S CHARITY
Join a group of people dedicated to improving the lives of children.
If you are searching for a good cause to lend a hand to, you need
look no further. Houston Children’s Charity is a 501(c) (3) non-profit
organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for underprivileged,
abused and disabled children who have been otherwise left
behind. The scope of our support is limited only by the availability
of resources. Our goal, the rainbow that we chase, is to leave no
legitimate request for assistance unanswered.

STANDUP FOR KIDS
How would you feel if you saved a kid’s life? StandUp For Kids is an
all volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk and
homeless kids through volunteer outreach efforts. Our volunteers
search the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless
and street kids improve their lives. Every day throughout the
US thirteen kids die on the streets from abuse, disease and suicide.
According to recent statistics Houston has up to 2,500 kids living on
the streets at any given time. Texas has the highest rate of homeless
youth in the U.S.
StandUp For Kids needs supplies for our Houston program, which
provides food, clothing, counseling and a safe environment for the
homeless youth of Houston. If you or your organization would like to
hold a food or clothing drive for StandUp For Kids, please contact me

org. The single greatest need, for homeless and street kids is our
continuous caring and real support. We must convince them that we
care, we want them back and we want to help them get off the streets.
