- Norman Stanley, Bud Stanley’s brother: recovering from microscopic
open heart surgery.
� Cat Davis: Praise!!! The appeal overturned the denied insurance claim.
Her stem cell transplant will be covered. They will still need money for
extra medical expenses. She is scheduled for the transplant in January.
Pray that they can schedule her sooner. In the meantime, continue to
pray for her health. She is in a lot of pain & very sick.
� Joanna Luse: Continue to pray for healing & renewed strength.
� Sue Stierwalt’s great-granddaughter: she was born with an unknown
infection & is in Sacred Heart ICU. Pray for wisdom for the doctors as
they seek to diagnose the infection.

make a decision regarding two surgeries that will help in his pain

Women’s Fall Retreat
The Women’s Retreat this year is November 9th & 10th

3 different trips to India and how you can be a

going to India serving in various ministries. Not

Food Pantry
Thank you to those who generously blessed friends
and neighbors who need our food pantry for a short
term boost. Still needed are assorted canned fruits,

Urgent Need
The Worship Ministry is looking for people to help in
the production booth on Sunday mornings and for
special events. There are openings for sound board
operators as well as people to run the projection
slides. A basic understanding and adaptability to
technology is necessary as well as an ear for music.
Training is provided. The average commitment is 1-
2 Thursday evening rehearsals and 1-2 Sunday
mornings a month. If you are interested or if you
have further questions, please contact Linda

Northview now has the ability to receive gifts of
stock donations. There may be tax benefits by gifting
this stock directly to the church. If you are interested
in this opportunity, contact the church office.

Pastor/Director Appreciation Month provides an opportunity to take action and keep our
pastors & directors from becoming the ones who have been called an “endangered species.”
Our pastors/directors are ordinary human beings, with limited energy, time & strength.
Discouragement can come when pastors/directors face unrealistic expectations or verbal
discouragement from the very people they are serving. When pastors & directors are
appreciated and encouraged, the church grows strong and as a result makes an impact
within their community.
Pastor appreciation Month gives each one of us an opportunity to take action to show our
pastors & directors our appreciation and love.

Our bins for each Community Outreach ministry to collect items that are needed are set up down in the breezeway. Each bin
has its ministry name on it and also a list of needs that will be updated as needs come in.
NBC Ministry Champions will check the bins from week to week to gather donations.

“Finishing Well” is a nine-week workshop that helps
men who are looking towards the future and asking,
“What now?”
The workshop includes sessions on:
Relationships, Finances, Obstacles facing us, Building
a Life Plan and more
During the nine sessions of the “Finishing Well” workshop,
you may not come away with a complete plan,
but you will be challenged to join the new frontier of
men who are re-defining their journey. For each
one, the road is different, but with common obstacles.
This workshop provides a forum where men
can talk about challenges & equip each other to
finish well.
