Women’s Fall Retreat<br />
The Women’s Retreat this year is November 9th & <strong>10</strong>th<br />
here at <strong>Northview</strong>. The theme is “Wireless Connection . . .<br />
4G Prayer.” Our special speaker will be Dottie Calvert. A<br />
detailed brochure and registration form will be in your<br />
mailbox this Sunday. Sign ups will take place in the foyer<br />
beginning this Sunday, October 21 as well as on October<br />
28 and November 4. Cost is $40 at time of registration..<br />

Come to the <strong>Northview</strong> PreView on Sunday, October 28 at<br />
the north end of the hall by the gym during the Sunday<br />
School hour to hear more about <strong>Northview</strong> and to meet<br />
the <strong>Northview</strong> Staff.<br />

study the passage that will be used for the<br />

Join us for an evening of pie & learning about the<br />
3 different trips to India and how you can be a<br />
part of this. Six people from <strong>Northview</strong> will be<br />
going to India serving in various ministries. Not<br />
only will you enjoy eating pie, but you will be able<br />
to throw pies in some faces. � It will be in<br />
Fellowship Hall at 6 pm. Bring your favorite<br />
pre-cut pie or fresh fruit to share.<br />

The Community Hymn Sing for October will be<br />

Cookies for our Troops . . . November 17<br />
On Saturday, November 17th, we have time slots<br />
available throughout the day for you and your family<br />
to come and decorate cookies that we send to<br />
<strong>Northview</strong> military families. Call Gay Pritchard at<br />
466.2593 to reserve a time or sign up in the foyer on<br />
November 4th & 11th.<br />
Food Pantry<br />
Thank you to those who generously blessed friends<br />
and neighbors who need our food pantry for a short<br />
term boost. Still needed are assorted canned fruits,<br />
canned soups, canned stew and canned milk. Please<br />
check expiration dates before donating.<br />

Urgent Need<br />
The Worship Ministry is looking for people to help in<br />
the production booth on Sunday mornings and for<br />
special events. There are openings for sound board<br />
operators as well as people to run the projection<br />
slides. A basic understanding and adaptability to<br />
technology is necessary as well as an ear for music.<br />
Training is provided. The average commitment is 1-<br />
2 Thursday evening rehearsals and 1-2 Sunday<br />
mornings a month. If you are interested or if you<br />
have further questions, please contact Linda<br />
