A FAIR DEAL AT WORK
Theresa Maybe May has promised that she'll do more to protect and
enhance workers right than any previous tory government.
Wow, that wouldn't be very difficult considering that tory governments,
including this one have a history of either decimating (Thatcher), hammering
(Cameron) or chipping away at workers rights (the rest including May).
Labour's manifesto released today includes a total of 20 specific points to
give workers both security and equality at work. highlights include ending
the public sector pay cap, banning zero hours contracts, banning unpaid
internships and abolition of employment tribunal fees (enabling people to
challenge unfair decisions regardless of their financial position. There are
lots more.
This is genuinely good stuff. You won't see much of it in the media but I'd
strongly recommend both those who support what I say and those who
disagree to have a look at the actual document (not the draft version leaked

When I was a manager I valued my staff and fully understood that by looking
after them properly both they and our business reaped the benefits. Looked
after workers look after your business. Mrs Maybe May doesn't understand
that.
