recommendations and player statistics — in its seven-town southwest suburban coverage area
to place on one super team. This team is made up of players from Lincoln-Way Central, LW
East, LW West, Providence Catholic, Andrew, Tinley Park, Lockport Township and Sandburg
high schools.

SWSC Red Pitcher of
the Year. The two-way
standout also hit five
home runs for the T-Bolts,
but he did most of his
damage on the mound,
especially in the strikeout
department. Committed
to St. Louis University.
P: Marcus Seguin,
junior, LW West
6-2, 1.08 ERA, 1.06
WHIP, 47 strikeouts.
Had two early losses
in March but went
undefeated the rest of
the season, including a
complete-game shutout
to notch the Warriors’
first regional title since
2012.
C: Ryan Hampe, junior,
Sandburg
.466 batting average,
7 home runs, 40 RBI,
11 doubles. All-SWSC
Blue. Hampe provided
stability behind the plate
and in the batting order,
which led the Eagles’
to a supersectional
appearance.

Andrew

.533 OBP, 6 home runs,
44 RBI, 12 doubles.
The T-Bolts had one of
the best offenses in the
state, and Oswald was
a big reason why, as he
led the area in RBIs.

3 triples, 11 stolen bases.
Carey set the tone for the
T-Bolts’ offense from the
top of the order, leading
the team in hits, runs and
stolen bases.
SS: Ryan Kaup, junior,
Providence

.582 OBP, 1 home run,
14 RBI, 24 runs, 7 stolen
bases. Named the team’s
MVP and Most Improved
Player, Kaup led the area
in batting average, but
more impressively, he
batted .538 with runners
in scoring position.
3B: Andrew Tenison, junior,
Sandburg
.389 batting average, .553
OBP, 5 home runs, 23 RBI,
27 runs. Tenison was a
major piece to the Eagles’
postseason success, which
included a pair of home
runs to help knock out the
defending state champs
Providence in the sectional
semis.

8 doubles, 4 triples. SWSC
Red Player of the Year.
Coming off labrum surgery
in the offseason affected
his fielding but made up
