Our Space, Our Face: WSW Program “Our Space, Our Face: WSW Sex and Sexuality Calendar,” a Social Marketing Campaign. IOOV launched its first WSW social marketing campaign, the “Our Space, Our Face: WSW Sex and Sexuality Calendar,” reaching 250 women. The campaign served as a norm-changer by destigmatizing sexuality within Lesbian and Bisexual women communities while offering health & socioeducational tools and resources. Outcomes included increases in group participation, points of entry to services - including HIV/HCV testing, linkages and an increased sense of cultural inclusion - something very important for WSW communities who do not relate to MSM dominated narratives and spaces within the LGBT community. Sexversations engaged 234 women! Out the Closet I Am group served 88 women through 174 session encounters. In Our Own Voices * 5
TransCare Transcare served 32 individuals, with 75 encounters on issues related to the name change process, hormone reassignment therapy, sex reassignment surgery, reproductive justice, counseling and other health related needs. Voices of Unity support group served 40 people with 90 session encounters. & that number is rising! Transgender Day of Remembrance This year we led two community marches in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). It was a time of celebration, learning, education, and coming together in solidarity to address the 300+ Trans murders on a global level and 25 on a national level . In Our Own Voices * 6
