IOOV Launches LGBT Domestic and
Sexual Violence Awareness Campaign
“No More…”
IOOV was excited to announce the adaption of the
“No More” campaign. This campaign was recognized
nationally and included Billboards, Bus Shelter Ads,
Posters, Pocket Cards, and Commercials. LGBT POC
community members (and our allies) participated in
the development of the campaign which promotes
awareness, prevention, and intervention for an
epidemic that has impacted our community for far too
long.
Men’s Empowerment Group
In 2016 IOOV engaged 42 men
with over
197 encounters!
YMSM/MSM Program
Our newest program, YMSM/MSM, promotes HIV prevention in the lives of Gay and
Bisexual men of color by identifying undiagnosed individuals living with HIV through
testing, linking positives into care and linking high risk negatives to PrEP and other
risk reduction services. YMSM/MSM program interventions include screening services,
care coordination, groups and community interventions.

In 2016, IOOV provided trainings and community education presentations
to 928 individuals in the Capital Region and over 440 individuals across
the Country.
