Dear Reader
Welcome to our Summer edition – the last one of the school year!
As you head towards the lovely, long summer holidays Primary
Times is delighted to help you and your family make the most of
this extended break.
It doesn’t seem to matter how well we plan, or indeed make arrangements
to meet up with friends for days out – inevitably we find ourselves with the
dilemma of “what shall we do today” or “I’m bored”. Primary Times also
recognises the desire to keep our children away from being tied to their
hand-held devices; ensure they get out in the better weather and safely
absorb as much Vitamin D as they can; to make sure that they do not forget
the skills they have learned at school – but above all, to make the memory of
the long summer holiday a happy one.
The Primary Times What’s on Where diary will help you fill your child’s
summer with happy memories and fun activities – many at a low or no cost,
more fun things to do can be found by visiting www.primarytimes.net/
staffordshire. From family fun at Drayton Manor to fascinating days at the
National Memorial Arboretum, family fun at the National Brewery Centre,
summer sport camps, a visit to a zoo or farm, the Freeport Talke beach,
classes in the arts and sport, going to an exhibition or to the theatre and
visiting Staffordshire’s museums – Primary Times is here to help you make
those happy memories.
We have some great competitions on page 14 where you can win some
brilliant prizes, including a 3 night stay at the Belfry Hotel & Resort
Have a wonderful summer holiday.
