MOBILE INFRASTRUCTURE

Right now, cloud and mobile technologies are reshaping virtually every
business into a digital enterprise. The cloud is rewriting many of the
rules of the game, enabling startups to scale at lightning speed, and
allowing legacy businesses to simplify, streamline, and accelerate business
transformation. At the same time, mobile technology has made the leap
from being a convenience to being a cornerstone technology that brings
companies closer to customers, and workers closer to one another.
The digital tipping
It’s time to seize th
The efforts of organisations to
become more digital and drive
growth continue to gain momentum.
But many still struggle with hurdles
and uneasiness which prevent them
from scaling up their digital efforts
or seeing clear returns on their
investments.
Digital transformation is a catchall
term for the various IT and business
initiatives aimed at extending
the reach of the enterprise while
remaining competitive. Achieving
new heights of agility and efficiency
is game changing for any business.
For related reasons, however, the
consequences of not pursuing digital
transformation – or not recognising
digitalisation as a tipping point – can
be equally dramatic, but in the wrong
way.
Becoming digital helps build customer
engagement, accelerates time to
market, and drives more data-driven
business models. To get there,
point:
businesses are adopting technologies
such as analytics, mobility, social
media, cloud, and smart-embedded
devices. IT leaders are also integrating
digital technology into their existing
systems such as ERP to enhance
customer relationships, improve
internal processes, and enrich their
value propositions.
Results from an IDG Research Services
study, in conjunction with EMC, show
a strong understanding that business
success is directly attached to digital
transformation. A staggering 92
percent of IT and business leaders
said their organisation’s competitive
strategy calls for digital business
initiatives, and 90 percent called
digital business “a top priority” for
the next one to three years. Some
44 percent, moreover, called it their
number one priority.
Business leaders also clearly
appreciate the transformative power
of digital business. When asked to
business decisions and operations.
Moving forward
with digital
While survey results show that
businesses are making progress
on their journey toward digital
transformation, they still have a
ways to go. On average, participants
in the IDG study said they’re just 63
percent of the way to achieving their
digital business goals and that their
infrastructure is 65 percent ready to
support new digital technologies.
IT leaders, however, are encountering
some familiar obstacles on the road
to digital transformation. Asked to
list their top digital business hurdles,
30 percent of those polled named
fragmented computing environments,
and 29 percent pointed to a lack of
the right technologies. A staggering
38 percent cited a shortage of budget
and resources. And it comes as no
surprise that companies are finding it
difficult to bridge their on-premises IT
infrastructures to the cloud.
Hybrid cloud has found its place as
the great enabler of digital business.
In short, a hybrid environment
embodies a modernised infrastructure
that involves two or more delivery
models: A traditional data centre and/
or private cloud, a managed private
cloud, and a public cloud. It also
includes coordinated management
and service provisioning.
A very strong 88 percent of IT
executives responding to the IDG
study called hybrid cloud an important
enabler of digital business, and 73
Source: IDG Strategic Marketing Services White Paper, “Hybrid Cloud Computing:
The Great Enabler of Digital Business.” January 2016
percent agreed that hybrid cloud
models create a path for digital
business for their organisation. Digital
transformation is already showing
up in the business strategies of these
organisations as C-level executives are
looking to capture the opportunities
available in the digital economy.
It’s evident that cloud plays a central
role in digital transformation. So
with so much at stake, why are some
organisations holding off their cloud
adoption?
Many executives continue to voice
concerns about moving compute
power and infrastructure between on
premises resources, private cloud, and
public cloud. Security risks, stringent
contracts, and spiralling usage costs
are at the top of the list of fears
around cloud adoption.
Conquering the
obstacles
It’s common knowledge that people
fear new things, especially technology.
A great example is virtualisation.
While it took some time, we’ve
overcome many of those fears. Today,
the idea of virtualisation is normal,
with businesses running both physical
and virtualised servers.
For many organisations, the cloud
remains as a new, big unknown, that
brings high risks and leads to a loss
of control. But like every other form
of technology, taking the time to
understand how the cloud can impact
a business and an IT infrastructure is
key to overcoming any apprehensions.
6 Solutions by Zones

Security
Despite cloud’s staggering adoption
rates, doubts around security continue
to be voiced by executives. With a
business’ most valuable asset – its
customer data and proprietary
information – on the line, it’s
understandable that security is seen as
an area of concern.
The level of data security is
established and maintained in three
ways:
• The planning and technology that
goes into engineering the security
solution
• The ability to run systems
and applications in ways that
proactively address security risks
• The implementation of best
practices that include assessments
and regular testing
In reality, IT executives always have
control over security protocols,
so their business data is only as
vulnerable as the security protocols in
place, cloud or no cloud.
Service provider
agreements
Unlike contracts associated with
outsourced IT, cloud service
agreements are really a partnership
aimed at helping you achieve your
business goals. Your knowledge
of the cloud provider, its support
competency, subscription options, and
functional capabilities are all part of
the infrastructure strategy.
Of course, the fact that cloud
providers don’t typically reveal their
underlying technology can add to
the anxiety when choosing a service
provider. It’s important to work within
defined performance metrics, so that
you can focus on achieving successful
business outcomes, and not worry
about the technology.
Out of control usage costs
One of the advantages of the cloud
is the ability to avoid upfront capital
costs by paying for compute resources
on a “per use” model. Major problems
with billing are typically associated
with public cloud and self-service
consumption. They can be avoided by
ensuring that users understand cloud
usage and the associated charges.
When done right, public cloud and
hybrid cloud make sound economic
sense and can result in savings as
services are switched off when not
in use. And unlike forecasting that
requires conjecture and can lead to
excess capacity that you may not use
for years (if at all), cloud services are
scalable and bills can be predictable
and well controlled.
Taking steps toward
digital
The cloud is revolutionising how
businesses and organisations connect
with and understand the world
around us. In this digital age, getting
in the cloud is more important than
ever before. But that can be difficult
and challenging.
along the way. Zones can help you
move your business to the cloud faster
and more successfully.
Whether you’re just beginning to
consider the cloud, or you need help
managing a complex cloud initiative,
important time to get in on the
power of digital business and cloud
technology. It’s time to seize the
moment with help from Zones.
Moving workloads to the cloud
doesn’t mean losing control over what
is important – IT services, data, and
applications provided by the business.
It’s merely changing the infrastructure
these services run on, which many
businesses find is less important as IT
becomes aligned with the business.
Understanding the
software-defined
data centre
Virtualise the infrastructure to transform your business
Until about the year 2000, each
server in a data centre ran a single
application. While this approach
ensured application performance,
as processing capability increased, it
often left a lot of a server’s processing
power sitting idle much of the time.
This one application per server
approach also uses up a lot of real
estate in the data centre, not to
mention the attendant power and
cooling costs.
Taking advantage of available
excess capacity, software engineers
adapted a concept from the world of
supercomputers that provides a layer
of abstraction between the hardware
and the applications running on it.
This allows for a single physical server
to be divided into multiple “virtual”
servers or virtual machines. This
virtualisation allows administrators
to run multiple applications on a
single physical server, recapturing
underutilised processing capacity and
reducing the data centre footprint. It
also allowed multiple virtual servers
across multiple physical servers to
be viewed, managed, and utilised as
pooled resources.
Initially, the idea of server
consolidation (reducing the number
of physical servers in the data centre)
was attractive to operators of large
data centres, due to the significant
reduction in hardware, space,
administrative, and electrical costs.
However, the economy and flexibility
of virtualisation soon found advocates
in much smaller environments. Once
administrators were able to utilise
a significantly greater percentage
of overall server capacity, it was
much less expensive to allocate
virtual machines to redundancy, thus
increasing availability. It also reduced
the cost of application and operating
system testing by eliminating the
need to purchase an isolated server;
in a virtualised environment, that
capacity can be spun up at will.
While server virtualisation initially
appealed to large data centre
operators, it was soon appearing in
data centres of all sizes.
In time, engineers realised that the
idea behind virtualisation could
be leveraged to other resources
in the data centre. Today, storage
virtualisation and network
virtualisation are making inroads
into data centres, further simplifying
administration, shrinking the
footprint, increasing agility, and
moving the vision of a softwaredefined
data centre from concept to
reality.
ukzones.com +44 (0)20 7608 7676
11

Storage virtualisation
and software-defined
storage
The storage virtualisation movement
is well underway in 2016. By pooling
physical storage residing within
multiple network storage devices,
storage virtualisation allows all of
those resources to be viewed and
managed as a single storage device
from a single console. Because
resources are easily viewed and
managed, storage virtualisation
speeds and simplifies backup,
archiving, and recovery.
Similarly, virtual storage area
networks, such as VMware’s vSAN,
add the ability to dynamically scale
storage capacity. This is achieved
by clustering server-attached flash
devices and/or hard disks to provide
a flash-optimised, highly resilient
shared datastore suitable for
workloads including applications,
virtual desktops, remote IT, DR, and
DevOps infrastructure.
If this is beginning to sound a little
like cloud storage to you, you’re right.
This is essentially the model for cloud
storage—multiple storage devices
that are dynamically managed to
scale on demand. In fact, a virtualised
storage environment greatly simplifies
a move to cloud storage as the cloud
resources can be viewed simply
as extensions of the existing
virtualised resources.
Network
virtualisation and
software-defined
networking
As with server and storage
virtualisation, network virtualisation
abstracts existing resources and allows
them be viewed and managed from
a single pane of glass, using open
protocols such as OpenFlow. This
allows for on-demand provisioning
of resources without the need to
physically configure cabling and
switches with every network change.
Software-defined networking
(SDN) takes things a step further,
entirely separating the control plane
from the data plane, and enabling
administrators to spin up virtual
components virtually at will.
Pulling it
all together
Individually, the components
of the software-defined data
centre yield significant benefits
to the organisation by optimising
resource utilisation, simplifying the
management of those resources, and
reducing the data centre footprint
and overall costs.
Taken together, a fully virtualised –
and software-defined – data centre,
not only yields substantial operational
and administrative savings, but
creates a cloud-ready infrastructure
that will pay dividends for many years
to come. What’s more, you can start
down the path to a software-defined
data centre at any point – compute,
store, or network – whichever will
deliver the greatest benefit or return.
Online retailers and travel sites were
some of the earliest adopters of
virtualised resources, and remain
big beneficiaries of the softwaredefined
data centre, as they provide
consistent service to customers
whether they’re shopping on Black
Friday, or rebooking a flight home
from Thanksgiving with the family.
Regardless of your specific business
cycles, a software-defined data centre
starts to deliver benefits from day
one, allowing the organisation to
rapidly reallocate and scale resources
in times of high demand, and then
release those resources for other uses
as demand drops off.
In our increasingly 24/7, web-centric,
cloud-connected world, such agility
is vital to delivering a high-quality
customer experience. But it’s not an
all-or-nothing proposition; Zones
works in partnership with industry
leaders like Cisco, Dell, Hewlett
Packard Enterprise, VMware, and
many others to help clients implement
advanced data centre solutions at
any stage.
Doing
Planning for an efficient,

mobility right
effective mobile infrastructure
Today – whether by accident or
design – virtually every business
relies on mobile technology to
get through the work day.
From a small business owner’s smartphone, to a retail
associate’s line-busting mobile point-of-sale device,
to a web-enabled delivery truck, mobile technology is
changing how and where work gets done. But making
sure all of those devices deliver the expected return on
investment is no accident. It takes sound planning and
design, backed by coordinated implementation and
management, to do business mobility right.
The Zones mobility practice is committed to helping
customers take business mobility from ad hoc to
advanced. It begins with solution architects, systems
engineers and product specialists assessing an
organisation’s business needs and existing mobile
infrastructure.
Often – and sometimes at surprisingly large
organisations – the team will find that the mobile
“strategy” in place is a loosely assembled bring-yourown-device
(BYOD) scenario, with the organisation
perhaps picking up the carrier bill for employees. While
such a system may keep people connected, it’s probably
costing more than it should, and it does little to keep
their devices – or the organisation – protected.
ukzones.com +44 (0)20 7608 7676
15

After an assessment is completed
and presented, the team will craft
a solution that pulls together all
of the elements – devices, wireless
networking, carrier selection, security,
management software, and backend
integration. By taking a holistic
approach to mobile solution design,
clients gain efficiencies at every level.
Once the design is approved, the
team goes to work sourcing and
implementing a customised solution.
For a corporate mobility initiative,
the solution might include a chooseyour-own-device
(CYOD) plan that
offers workers a standardised set
of device options (smartphones/
tablets/ notebooks); an enhanced
wireless network that supports secure
highspeed connectivity, mobile device
management (MDM) or enterprise
mobility management (EMM)
software to manage and secure
devices; and a multi-carrier or multiregion
carrier portfolio tailored to
specific use and travel plans.
In the retail and restaurant industries,
Zones supports a wide range of
mobile initiatives designed to
enhance the customer experience
– most of which revolve around
speeding the time to transaction. Such
initiatives include advanced mobile,
drive-thru, and in-restaurant ordering
platforms (see related story on page
19), as well as multi-function smartdevices
that let salespeople complete
customer transactions on the sales
floor, eliminating check-out lines.
Hospitals and other large provider
networks typically turn to our mobility
practice to execute mobile point of
care solutions that assist with a wide
range of clinical activities such as
patient monitoring, mobile imaging
and therapeutic interventions. Our
solutions enable these activities
while addressing the healthcare
industry’s significant security, privacy,
and compliance regulations. Typical
mobility projects in the healthcare
space include medical-grade tablet
and notebook deployments, and
robust wireless networks that must
operate in challenging electrical
environments without generating
additional interference on essential
frequencies.
For field sales and service workers –
and the companies and agencies that
employ them – mobility is key. We
design a wide range of solutions that
enable workers to stay productive,
even in harsh environments and
remote areas. From ruggedised
smartphones, tablets, and notebooks
to signal amplifiers, we design
solutions that keep people connected.
Fleet management and logistics
professionals are no longer satisfied
with knowing where their vehicles are
supposed to be; they want to know
where they are, where they’ve been,
and where they’re going next. They
also want to know whether drivers
are on schedule, and whether any
of those drivers are speeding to stay
on schedule. Zones designs complete
fleet systems that keep drivers and
vehicles connected with dispatchers,
and that keep data flowing between
the vehicle and backend systems at
headquarters.
In K-12 and higher education, mobile
initiatives have been underway for
many years. The challenge for IT
leaders in education is that another
mobile initiative is always just around
the corner. On college campuses,
bandwidth is always at a premium.
Students and professors want to work
wherever they might be, regardless
of the burden it puts on the network.
In elementary education, one-toone
initiatives are sending waves of
devices into classrooms, and IT has to
keep them all on the same page. We
design solutions for the education
market that answer the demand
for ever more bandwidth, as well
as advanced device management
solutions that allow IT to centrally
update and maintain devices
our customers are assured that the
solution we provide meets their needs
– and the needs of their customers,
workers, or constituents – exactly.
Zones mobile solutions expertise
helps Panera Bread ® accelerate service
For decades, the $200 billion fast-food industry has relied
on a system that often results in long lines at cash registers
and drive-thru windows. But now Panera is raising the bar
on customer satisfaction by using mobile technology to
enhance service and operations.
The next time you enjoy a sandwich or panini made at
a Panera Bread ® bakery-cafe, you might be placing your
order via one of the fast-lane kiosks that Zones is working
with Panera to roll out in 900 corporate bakery-cafe
locations across the U.S.
Zones is working on Panera’s 2.0 project, a 36-month
overhaul of the bakery-cafe’s restaurant pager system
that notifies customers when their
order is ready. The new mobile
kiosks represent much more than a
payment system or digital ordering
process. The fast-lane kiosk is an
integrated, comprehensive, endto-end
solution that reduces wait
times, improves order accuracy, and
minimises or eliminates crowding.
And it does it all while delivering
more personalised customer
experiences.
Customer-focused technology
Zones provides the technology behind the fastlane kiosks,
including the tablet devices that enable customers to place
dine-in and to-go orders. The mobile kiosks are available in
addition to cashier stations, so that wait time is reduced for
all customers.
While fast service is one significant change that is sure to
be appreciated by customers, the system offers a range
of customer benefits. The kiosks are highly visual, easy
to use, and include a menu builder to assist with order
accuracy. Customers can save custom orders, past orders,
and “favourites” for faster ordering on future visits. When
linked to the MyPanera ® loyalty program and Apple Pay,
customers can enjoy an even faster ordering experience.
Food is now delivered right to dine-in customers – no
waiting in lines – by an associate using an electronic table
finder. To-go customers sitting in the pick-up area can keep
an eye on the order-status monitor that provides real-time
information as orders are prepared and completed.
Zones is coordinating the acquisition, configuration, and
deployment of the mobile fast-lane kiosks. A dedicated
team at Zones manages a complex supply chain that,
beyond componentry, includes oversight of the deployment
master schedule, which starts when devices go to the Zones
integration lab for configuration; configuration of Apple ®
iPad ® devices; provisioning and management of product
inventory; coordination of delivery and on-site installation
services; on-site equipment
testing and problem resolution;
and consulting and capabilities
around optimising mobile
device management.
An award-winning solution
In September 2015, Restaurant
Business selected Panera
Bread Company as the Tech
Accelerator of the Year, the
restaurant industry’s top
technology award.
Panera is being recognized for setting a new benchmark
with its rollout of Panera 2.0, a technology solution
provided by Zones that extends from a mobile app to selfordering
kiosks.
“Its integrated, technology-driven approach has helped
make ‘frictionless’ service a pillar of the fast-casual
experience, resetting customers’ expectations around
speed of service and producing enviable results in sales and
utilisation.” says Kelly Killian, group editor of foodservice
for Winsight Media, the publisher of Restaurant Business
magazine.
Accelerating
data center
modernization

Who’s watching
over your data?
Trouble may be lurking within your network

Data breaches are on the rise.
The average cost of a data breach
was nearly $3.79 million * and
that amount is predicted to
increase exponentially in the
foreseeable future.
In the past year, we witnessed major commercial and government
organisations receiving alarming cybersecurity breaches and
attacks. Well-known organisations such as Home Depot,
T-Mobile/Experian, Ashley Madison, Sony Pictures, Anthem,
Premera Blue Cross, the Democratic National Committee, and
the Federal Government’s Office of Personnel Management
experienced cybersecurity issues. Even the IRS wasn’t safe from
attack. Despite the fact that these organisations had specialised
degrees of preparedness and cyber protection in place, they still
fell victim.
Organisations today are faced with preparing for and defending
against attacks on everything from critical infrastructure to
medical devices and beyond.
Almost 6.8 billion connected devices are in use in 2016; up 30
percent from 2015. It is forecasted that by 2020, this number
will increase to more than 20 billion connected devices. In
other words, for every human being on the planet, there will
be between two and three connected devices. The popularity
of smartphones and tablets presents one of the biggest risks
within the category. These devices are attractive to cybercriminals
because they dramatically expand the number and variety of
potential attack vectors, including malicious apps and websites as
well as mobile payment systems like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
As cybersecurity breaches continue to increase in size and
frequency, organisations should be prepared to address the
growing need for threat deterrence and remediation. Focusing
on the following key areas will
provide resilience and greater peace
of mind.
Out with the old
Roughly 44 percent of the breaches
faced by organisations are related
to outdated hardware, end of life
equipment, or outdated software
versions. These vulnerabilities are
easily exploited by cybercriminals.
Understanding your core assets and
what version you have deployed
is crucial. Hardware and software
assets must be patched regularly,
and expertise is needed to ensure
configurations adhere to “best
practices” to prevent hackers from an
easy entry point.
A robust security assessment can
provide the level of discovery detail
necessary for an organisation to
take action and understand the
true level of protection needed.
These assessments provide critical
information – especially in regard to
outdated products – and give valuable
outside perspective on creating a
deeper, tighter security profile.
Gone phishing
The easiest way for cybercriminals
to gain access to your organisation’s
sensitive data is by duping an
unsuspecting individual into handing
over the keys. Phishing attacks, often
referred to as “spear phishing” or
“social engineering,” are growing and
becoming more sophisticated. These
official-looking messages that appear
to come from a reliable source are
utilised to gain access to your systems
or to deploy malware/ransomware
that expose the organisation to a
future risk.
Attacks can enter an organisation in a
number of ways. Whether it’s through
a malicious email attachment or an
unfamiliar USB drive inserted into a
computer, phishing attacks can cause
extremely expensive or irreparable
harm to an organisation. If these
attacks successfully target executives,
they can wreak havoc, potentially
exposing competitive or other
sensitive company data.
Educating potential targets about
the dangers is not enough to stop it.
You need a combination of real-time
monitoring and scanning systems
with protective blocking capabilities
to provide the depth of prevention
necessary to thwart such attacks.
Head in the cloud
Today, more and more, companies are
relying on cloud-based applications
and services that reside outside the
traditional IT data centre. That opens
up the possibility of IT departments
losing oversight and control of
corporate data and intellectual
property.
While security remains the number
one obstacle in the adoption of
cloud computing for businesses and
government agencies, employees
may be bypassing internal IT to utilise
cloud services and applications. In the
process, they may also be bypassing
critical security protocols and systems.
As the trend of pushing the IT
landscape toward cloud applications
and cloud infrastructure continues,
malware and ransomware are
evolving to provide a way for hackers
to remotely attack public and private
clouds and access corporate networks.
The good news is that the cloud also
presents tremendous opportunities
for modernising, locking down, and
securing their data. Cloud security
solutions protect applications and
data from new critical threats
like ransomware, which can cause
significant business disruptions. Zones
security solutions offer a stronger,
more focused approach to securing
physical, virtual, cloud, or hybrid
environments.
Talk is cheap
As hackers become more
sophisticated, they are identifying
and exploiting new points of entry
into the corporate IT infrastructure.
Unified Communications (UC) may
represent a unique security challenge
for many businesses.
UC brings together telephony, VoIP,
video, chat, email and collaboration
capabilities into a single, unified
environment that supports both on
premise and remote users. Because
UC integrates disparate technologies,
is no surprise that it also has the
potential to expand attack surfaces
and present new opportunities for
bad actors.
VoIP and UC platforms have the
potential to open the door for
attackers to steal service, harass
and disrupt, sell unwanted products
and services, steal information, and
eavesdrop on private conversations.
With the majority of hackers focusing
their attention on easier penetration
points such as the network, email,
and end-point devices, UC remains
a relatively new target. However, as
organisations continue to enhance
their UC profile and rely on it for
day-to- day operations, the UC
platform will start being viewed not
22 Solutions by Zones

as endpoints but as a significant entry
point for intruders.
We hear you
With mobile penetration nearing 100
percent, virtually every business can
expect that its corporate information
is being accessed remotely by mobile
devices or mobile applications.
This opens up more opportunities
for attackers to access enterprise
assets as well. It also allows them to
interact with corporate data and even
collaborate with their colleagues.
With an ever-increasing number
of mobile devices, wearables, and
embedded medical devices streaming
into the workplace, the challenge
for organisations will continue to be
securing a moving target.
As the number of mobile devices
continues to grow, malware is sure to
follow. The number of unique mobile
malware viruses rose from 6,000,000
to over 12,000,000 in a two-year
period, as attackers continue to turn
their focus toward mobile devices.
As businesses continue to embrace the
mobility – and more specifically the
“Bring Your Own Device” or BYOD
movement – this growing threat
vector represents a potential security
nightmare for IT professionals. It’s
important to remember that the core
threat isn’t employees or visitors using
their own devices, but that devices are
mobile and can connect from virtually
anywhere, putting them in jeopardy.
In other words, mobile’s greatest
benefit is also it’s greatest risk.
The critical point to understand is that
an increase in mobile devices increases
the chances of a breach. That means
companies should accept the fact that
it’s probably going to happen. There
needs to be a focus on understanding
what to do when a breach occurs –
and how to mitigate it before serious
damage is done.
Pay up or else
Ransomware is malicious software
that infects a victim’s computer,
locks up files, and demands payment
in exchange for regaining access.
Ransomware typically propagates as
a Trojan, entering a system through
a downloaded file, embedded
email attachments, or through a
vulnerability in a network service.
The latest ransomware attacks can
worm their way through the network
to other computers, networked drives,
and cloud solutions to affect files and
data being used by an organisation.
Ransomware typically falls into
two variants, encrypting and
nonencrypting. Both variants will
either encrypt the data and files or
lock the computer entirely, rendering
all data inaccessible until the ransom
is paid – usually through Bitcoin
services.
In light of who you’re doing business
with in such a scenario, there’s no
guarantee that payment will allow
you to decrypt your data, or that your
data hasn’t already been sold on the
open market.
Common examples of ransomware
attacks in the news include
CryptoWall.v3, CryptoLocker,
CryptoLocker.F, TorrentLocker,
Reveton, to name a few. With
proper training and education
of the workforce, ransomware
can be managed with real-time
security protection and sandboxing
technologies, as well as robust backup
procedures.
Stay a step ahead
While the technologies required to
protect your infrastructure and data
may be complex, the philosophy
behind them is simple: Expect the
worst. Enterprises need to formalise
threat protection strategies and plan
for a likely attack. IT must increase
overall threat awareness and should
ensure that users do so as well.
The security team at Zones can
help with the assessment, design,
implementation and management of
security infrastructure and procedures
for organisations of every size. Our
team of experts stands ready to help
you address everything from phishing
to cloud vulnerabilities, and UC to
mobile. Because when it comes to
cybersecurity, the best defense is a
great offense.
