Coming from an architectural career, I love to design but I also love to paint.
Colour is my thing. I try to capture the everchanging colours and forms of
Dartmoor and the surrounding valleys. I have originals, prints and cards.
North of Tavistock and just north of Brentor follow signs to Liddaton. At the
bottom of the steep hill turn right to Coryton and after the iron railway bridge
turn right down a dead end. Destination about half a mile on the right.

I started out in the theatre, so for me there’s always an element of narrative to what I create.
My work has been described as wryly melancholic, which I like – there’s always humour
to be found, even in the saddest tales…
If you are coming from Tavistock, we are just off the A386, approximately half a
mile before the turning to Lydford, there is a chevron sign warning you the road is
about to zigzag through some trees – there is a track running behind this sign and
we are at the end of it. Disabled access: we have fairly good access but may be
best to call ahead to check first.
