<strong>WBI</strong>’s Civil Group was contracted to help a repeat client expand their facilities in the heart of North<br />
Carolina. The 40+ acre site’s scope included: clearing, erosion control, storm drainage, mass grading,<br />
fine grading and turning over stone pads for building construction. Due to the nature of the facility and<br />
the desire for rapid growth of the campus, the project schedule was a critical concern from inception.<br />
<strong>WBI</strong> was able to commit to the aggressive completion date and perform the work under an unclassified<br />
contract to help the client and owner mitigate their risks on the project.<br />
Once clearing and erosion control was complete, <strong>WBI</strong> was able to move up to 15,000 cys per day through<br />
a variety of operations. The long thin site allowed the project team to set up multiple cuts using both<br />
top loading and scraping means and methods. The larger cuts and fills were on the<br />
