Ann Arbor’s Keri Lynn Roche is a
singer-songwriter and instrumentalist
whose edgy take on indie pop/rock,
full-bodied vocals, and tongue-in-cheek
delivery have made her a rising star.
She caught the national spotlight as a
contestant and returning alum in recent
seasons of American Idol and has been
steadily growing her fanbase, performing
at well-known venues like The House of
Blues. Her early influences included Tori
Amos, Fiona Apple, Katy Perry, and Ani
Difranco, though she says, “I am
constantly changing and experimenting. I
like to play folk music, I can get gospel,
I’m a pop princess and I grew up on
alternative rock and grunge so it all is
somehow intertwined in the music I
write. The one thing that remains
consistent is the honesty.” She recently
released the single “Scar on My Heart,”
and returns to The Art Fair Mainstage
backed by a full band.
