The new Golf GTI at the “Race of<br />
the Champions” event<br />
Abu Dhabi, UAE 22 May <strong>2017</strong> – Volkswagen Ali & Sons have announced the arrival of the<br />
most iconic hatchback in automotive history at Volkswagen showroom in Abu Dhabi. The<br />
new Volkswagen Golf GTI features an enhanced design, new assistance systems and a new<br />
generation infotainment system.<br />
The new Golf GTI was presented during “Race of the Champions” at the Volkswagen showroom on the<br />
Abu Dhabi Corniche. The UAE’s best racing drivers competed on a racing simulator to achieve blistering<br />
track times in a bid to be crowned “Abdullah Jafari”.<br />
Ammar Johmani, General Manager Volkswagen Abu Dhabi stated “The Golf GTI offers a daily drive<br />
that excites with new technology and safety features that set the bar within the compact segment. Our<br />
customers can enjoy all new technology such as gesture control – a first within the hot hatch segment.”<br />
