There’s going to be a fashion show at
Gloucester House featuring High Street
fashion brands at affordable prices.
Admission is £3 with a ticket or £3.50 on
the door. All ages are welcome.
13th September
A trip to Anglesey Abbey, Gardens and
Lode Mill, Cambridgeshire. The cost
is £20 (£8 for National Trust members)
including pick-ups from Oakham
and Uppingham. This visit is set to
coincide with the dahlia festival. Phone

The Earl Shilton centre is hosting a
fashion show. Book early to avoid

Enjoy a buffet carvery lunch at Muston
Gap Inn Nottinghamshire followed by
a visit to Downtown shopping and
garden centre near Grantham. The

A trip to Ely Cathedral Christmas gift
and food fair. This annual event in the
12th century cathedral involves over 100
stalls, carol singing and demonstrations.

24th November
Visit the Christmas Market and Fayre
at our Earl Shilton centre. There will
be opportunity to buy seasonal gifts
and goodies. Coinciding with the Earl
Shilton light switch-on the event will also
feature a visit from Father Christmas.
Regular activities
The Anything Goes project seeks to
help socially isolated, disadvantaged and
vulnerable older people. The social group
meet up weekly in Clarence House,
Fridays 10.30 – 12.30 (not the fourth Friday
of each month) and Evington Park House,
Evington village, Wednesdays 10.30-12.30
Every Wednesday, 12 noon – 2pm you
can come along to our Thorncroft
Lunch Club where you can enjoy
a 2 course hot meal, a drink and a
friendly chat all for just £4.50. Phone

Come to our free drop-in social
group for over 50s held every 2nd
and 4th Thursday of the month 10am
– 12 noon at Tesco Community
Space, Park Road, Loughborough.
Take a break, meet other locals
or seek help and advice.
For help with laptops, tablets and smart
phones or if you want help with software
confidence building come to our
technology help sessions every 1st
and 3rd Monday of the month from 12.30
– 2.30pm at the Tesco Community
Space, Park Road Loughborough.

are going to be holding a course of three
classes on Writing for Wellbeing at our
city based Clarence House. Spaces
are limited so keep an eye on the events
at the centre for more information.
