Business focus Tell us a little bit about Sutton & Sons... We're an award-winning, family-owned independent fish and chip shop where the fish is sustainably sourced from our own fishmongers. We started nearly 20 years ago and owe a lot of thanks to our loyal customers who keep supporting us. What makes you different? We know that our product is of the best quality and comes directly from the fishing boats every day, which provides a fresh and daily changing menu. We strive to offer a variety of exceptional home-cooked LoveEast meets Danny and Hana Sutton, of Sutton & Sons everyone who comes through the door has the best service experience, as well as exceptional food. All of our staff have completed a course in fishmongery and customer service. We really appreciate the feedback we get Foodies' chippie? You'd batter believe it dishes from grilled catches of the day for those watching the calories, to vegan prawns and vegetarian burgers so nobody feels left out. We think really hard about our menu to get across an authentic and quality family feeling that attracts foodies and not just locals. We're an affordable destination to eat in London. What's the most important thing in business? The most important thing to us is great customer service. We want to make sure from customers and encourage them to do so through our social channels, such as Facebook and Twitter to Google and Tripadvisor. It’s the best way a business can learn and grow. Nobody gets it right every time, but if your customers know you are listening this goes a long way to help. What do your customers say about you? Business focus difference between our top-notch fish and chips and somewhere where they use old oil and the fish was caught the day before. What's cooking? Everything! We’ve got all the classics covered; cod, haddock, plaice, scampi – all served with our proper chips with fluffy middles, and mushy peas. For seafood lovers we have moules marinières, Cromer crab on toast, super fresh oysters from Maldon and calamari. Advertorial If fish isn’t your thing we have jumbo battered Cumberland saveloy and steak & kidney pie with mash. For those who want a lighter supper we offer grilled trout, mackerel or sea bass with seasonal salad. For afters we’ve got a selection of Mrs Sutton’s fresh homemade cakes and desserts but the one most people know us for is our sticky toffee pudding – it’s popular all year round.
