Introduction
Naco have for many years has been
a leader in the design and
manufacture of single and double
glazed louvres, external metal louvres,
solar control sunbreakers and
sunscreens.
This comprehensive range has now
been expanded to include the sight
proof vertical bladed Storm Louvre
(Type SLV) which provides exceptional
resistance to wind driven rain.
Horizontal bladed versions (Type SLH
and SLH-S) are also available to
compliment this high performance
range of weatherproof louvres.

The new design of the SLV Storm
Louvre has brought an advanced
technology to metal louvre systems,
where internal building ‘dry areas’ are
essential.
The remarkable performance
provided by the SLV Storm Louvre is
due to extensive research and
development in the blade profile,
which allows air to pass, whilst
diverting and capturing water
particles, thus preventing water
ingress even under the most extreme
conditions. Previously, conventional
methods of preventing water ingress
have been achieved by utilising
double or triple bank louvre systems.
Now with SLV Storm Louvre, this can
be attained in a single bank, single
frame style, with superior efficiency
and cost effective performance.
The innovative vertical blade
arrangement provides a significant
alternative to the normal concept of
louvre systems. Not only offering
advanced weather protection, but
allowing the designer the freedom to
exploit vertical dimensions within
ventilation systems.
The Naco SLV Storm Louvre range
has undergone extensive and
vigorous development testing in
accordance with the HEVAC / draft
European Standard for weather louvre
performance.
SLH and SLH-S Storm Louvre
versions provide a far superior barrier
to water ingress than the
conventional Z type louvres, whilst
allowing good airflow characteristics.
