I joined Southern Trust Mortgage in November<br />

of 1998 as a Loan Officer and have spent the<br />

past 14+ years growing with the company. Over<br />

the years, I have had numerous opportunities to<br />

leave Southern Trust for management/originator<br />

positions at other companies, but have stayed<br />

put for many reasons.<br />

It all starts at the top! From the Corporate<br />

Operations Manager to the President of the<br />

Company, you will not find a more accessible<br />

group of mortgage professionals to assist a<br />

highly motivated Loan Officer. They realize the<br />

cornerstone of success for the Loan Officer and<br />

the company is closing loans and closing on<br />

time. Not to mention, Southern Trust provides a<br />

competitive rate sheet and generous<br />

compensation.<br />

Above all else, my loyalty to Southern Trust is a<br />

product of their loyalty to me. I am fortunate<br />

to work with a group that recognizes talent,<br />

desire and hard work. I have been afforded the<br />

opportunity to grow from a Loan Officer (who<br />

had never closed a purchase loan transaction) to<br />

the Branch Manager of the largest branch within<br />

the Company, to the Production Manager. I truly<br />

Having spent 16 years as a top producer<br />

mortgage business, I’ve asked myself many<br />
