I joined Southern Trust Mortgage in November
of 1998 as a Loan Officer and have spent the
past 14+ years growing with the company. Over
the years, I have had numerous opportunities to
leave Southern Trust for management/originator
positions at other companies, but have stayed
put for many reasons.
It all starts at the top! From the Corporate
Operations Manager to the President of the
Company, you will not find a more accessible
group of mortgage professionals to assist a
highly motivated Loan Officer. They realize the
cornerstone of success for the Loan Officer and
the company is closing loans and closing on
time. Not to mention, Southern Trust provides a
competitive rate sheet and generous
compensation.
Above all else, my loyalty to Southern Trust is a
product of their loyalty to me. I am fortunate
to work with a group that recognizes talent,
desire and hard work. I have been afforded the
opportunity to grow from a Loan Officer (who
had never closed a purchase loan transaction) to
the Branch Manager of the largest branch within
the Company, to the Production Manager. I truly
feel my voice is heard and I am just as much a
part of Southern Trust’s success as they are part
of my own.
