Hello Summer!
Thanks for taking the time to read this new
publication. This is our summer edition so
hopefully you can enjoy reading this whilst
sat in the garden with a long cool drink.
Property and the associated lifestyle is
often one of the main things people talk
about when they get together, often in one
of their own properties and normally the
kitchen!
Conversations will often be around,
extensions, plans to move, holidays and
whether they take priority over moving
or improving.
In this publication, we will be looking at
all things property along with the Lifestyle
associated with this. This includes things
we can do and enjoy being fortunate to live
in such an up and coming area.
We cover all areas on the NP and part of
the CF post code areas so our articles and

when we are invited to a friend’s house,
we ignore the fact that they haven’t
tended the garden over the winter and
forgive any flaws. Yet visiting a home
as a potential buyer, a Hyacinth Bucket

and note how the fencing really has seen
better days.
Did you know that the state of your
garden can actually affect the value
of your property? An eyesore can see

This time of year we all want a garden

There is no doubt that certain times of
the year are typically busier than others
when it comes to people looking to
move. There is always a surge at the
beginning of the year – yes, whilst many
of us are focused on spending time with
the family, others are on Rightmove and
other property websites seeing what
properties are available.
Easter is another peak time, as families
are looking to find a new home and be
settled before they have to apply for
a school place for their children. The
desire to live within key catchment
areas is one of their key motivations
for moving. It also means they can
enjoy the summer months in their new
home before starting the new term in
September.
But does this mean that January
and Easter are the best times to sell
your home?
There is only one answer to that –
what is your motivation?
We all have our own reasons for wanting
to move, for example you may have a
new job that means that you need to
change location. Situations like this are
not determined by seasons, but you may
have a timeframe that you need to move
within. It is important that you let your
estate agent know your circumstances
and dates, that way we can ensure that
we target the right buyers, those who
are in a position to meet your needs. You
may feel as though you have outgrown
your home; the walls seem to be closing
in around you, and you long for a space to
breathe. Moving home in this case does
not have any timeframe, it is based on a
burning need to find somewhere bigger.
When it comes to moving out of need,

is best, as it is really down to you. If
