Is Family Camp <strong>of</strong> Interest to Your Family?<br />
We Want to Hear From You!<br />
Planning and reserving dates is a tall order for this busy and<br />
involved congregaon, so now is as good a me as any to<br />
re-evaluate and assess the interest level for Family Camp.<br />
With lake cabins, sports and vacaons filling up our limited<br />
free-me and calendars, is Family Camp sll a ‘must have’<br />
for <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> families?<br />
Family Camp is an opportunity to experience Bible Camp as<br />
a household, no maer what age or stage you are in. There<br />
are a wide variety <strong>of</strong> family camp styles and structures, but<br />
a tradional family camp experience typically includes worship,<br />
teaching and acvies for all ages, campfires, games,<br />
and free me. Adults can have as much family me as they<br />
desire, while also being free to unwind and relax and place<br />
their children in the capable and energec hands <strong>of</strong> camp<br />
staff.<br />
If you and your family want to begin or connue the Family<br />
Camp tradion through <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong>, we need to hear<br />

and tell us which season<br />
(spring, summer, fall or winter) best suits your family.<br />

the March MN FoodShare Campaign! We will<br />
share the results <strong>of</strong> the campaign as soon as<br />
we get them.<br />

Sharing & Caring Hands<br />
<strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> will be serving lunch at Sharing<br />
& Caring Hands on Tuesday, <strong>April</strong> 5. Please<br />
consider volunteering to prepare the food,<br />
serve the lunch, or give a monetary donaon<br />
for the ingredients. Sign up in the Gathering<br />
Area by <strong>April</strong> 3.<br />
Earn Cash for the<br />
Navajo <strong>Lutheran</strong> Mission School!<br />
Please keep bringing in those labels and box<br />
tops to the Informaon Desk. The Navajo <strong>Lutheran</strong><br />
Mission School can use them to purchase<br />
things like computers and electronics,<br />
school supplies, classroom furniture, athlec<br />
uniforms and equipment, and vans to<br />
transport kids to and from school.<br />
