How did you get started playing volleyball? When I was in third grade, we got this form for [Homer Athletic Club], it was like a [recreational] volleyball. My mom asked me if I wanted to do it, so I did it. I really liked it, so I just continued to keep playing. What do you love about volleyball? I love how it’s really intense at times and how the atmosphere is really fun. What is the most challenging part of playing volleyball? The most challenging part of volleyball is trying to read where they’re going to hit or going to tip [the ball]. What is a goal of yours for the season? A goal of mine is to pass better than I did last year. I did really well last year, and I want to continue that and try and do better. Who is the most funny person on the team? The funniest person on the team is probably Emma [Sweeney], the libero. She is her own self; she is funny. She jokes a lot. Did you go on any fun vacations this summer? This summer, I just went to Michigan with my neighbors, and we just boated, jet-skied and laid out on the water for a long time. If you could play any other sport, what would you want to play? I would probably be a cheerleader. It just looks totally fun. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? Probably to fly because I hate waiting in traffic, and Brittany Kapa/22nd Century Media I hate just walking through the halls and not being able to go when I want to because of the congestion. What is your favorite TV show? Probably “Grey’s Anatomy.” It’s on Netflix now. If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would you choose? Kourtney Kardashian.
