Champagne TAITTINGER Champagne for the independently minded, their origins date back to 1734 with the founding of the original house. Pierre-Emmanuel, grandson of the founder, today presides over Taittinger and maintains a high degree of control over sourcing the grapes. Leaning toward a majority blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, the house style is that of elegance, finesse and delicacy within every bottle produced. Taste Size TAITTINGER, Brut Vintage C VG Sourced primarily from Taittinger’s Grand and Premier Cru vineyards situated in the three main regions; equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir contribute to the blend. Lively, with a fine mousse and an elegant biscuity finish. 1 75cl TAITTINGER, Prelude C VG A brilliant, pale yellow with silvery highlights. The bubbles are fine and form a lasting and delicately creamy mousse. The nose is subtle and fresh. Initial mineral aromas quickly develop into green, floral scents with hints of elder flower and spicy cinnamon overtones. Flavours are dominated by intense fresh citrus fruit which then give way to a much fuller, well-bodied and mellow taste with flavours reminiscent of white peaches in syrup. 1 75cl TAITTINGER, Folies de la Marquetterie C VG Intense, highly fruity bouquet with notes of peaches, apricot jam and vanilla. 1 75cl TAITTINGER, Comtes de Champagne Rosé C This Champagne features extraordinarily delicate bubbles and a fresh, highly refined nose with complex aromas of wild strawberries, morello cherries and black currants with hints of fresh almonds and liquorice. On the palate, the initial fruitiness quickly intensifies and leads into a rich, structured midpalate and a generous finish that maintains balance and freshness. 2 20cl VEUVE CLICQUOT Veuve Clicquot’s house motto is “Only one quality, the finest”. True to the inspiring values of Madame Clicquot, they remain the most innovative house of Champagne. Their iconic yellow label was the first pantone colour to be defined and registered in 1877. The label, which depicts a rose in full bloom, evokes the aroma of the wine. 2 75cl BOTTER, Frizzante Spago Prosecco SC VG Elegant floral bouquet, soft white fruit flavours and a creamy palate. Well balanced acidity and a persistent mousse. The scent pleasant and characteristically fruity with hints of ripe golden apple, peach and apricots. CASANOVA, Extra Dry Cuvée Prestige Rosé C The colour is aristocastic pale rose with purple glints with a perlage that is fine, elegant, and persistant. A bouquet full of sensual expressions with a pleasant fragrance of wild red berries and hints of rose.
