It will provide security, cleaning, waste management, catering and reception at offices, contact centre, and a fulfilment centre. The company will also provide on-site technical services that will see M&E and maintenance staff constructing sets within the retailer’s production studio ahead of filming. The contractor will also deliver traditional maintenance services. PMP Recruitment, also part of Cordant, will also provide Ideal with temporary labour as required, to support the retailer’s fulfilment and warehouse operations at busy periods. The contractor says this is the first time that the Department for Transport (DfT) has certified the private security industry to provide specialist free running detection dogs; aviation is the only sector that requires regulation of private security dogs (and handlers). Teams are tested by explosive samples in an operational environment.
