Anevay add
to their
range of
glamping
stoves
Cornish wood burner company Anevay have recently added
two new stoves to their range of glamping stoves, designed to
help you extend your glamping season right through the year
and give your customers an experience they won’t stop
talking about for weeks.
The two new stoves, both of which will be manufactured in
Cornwall, provide heating solutions for the smaller and
larger ends of the scale. The Shepherd Stove is designed - you
guessed it - for shepherd’s huts and smaller bell tents. Petite
and compact, the Shepherd Stove can be tucked away in a
corner or placed on a heatproof shelf unit. Coming in at just
over a foot tall the Shepherd still kicks out lots of heat and
provides a cosy centrepiece to the space, with a glass window
so your customers can watch the flames flickering.
The Tana Stove is designed for much larger spaces: safari
tents and lodges, large tipis, and cabins. The sizeable door
makes it easy to load large pieces of timber, and the huge
glass window shows off the roaring fire to its very best
advantage.
Designer and founder John says, ‘We are passionate about
UK manufacture: many of the materials we use to build our
stoves are sourced from within a few miles of our doorstep in
Redruth, Cornwall. We hope the new additions encourage
more people with unique spaces to think about installing a
wood burner; it really does add something special to the
experience of staying overnight in a yurt, shepherd’s hut or
safari tent.’
Anevay recently undertook a project with the Youth Hostel
Association to provide wood burning stoves for twenty bell
tents spread over nine YHA sites. With their HETASapproved
installation kit, Anevay can provide everything you
need - including flues, fittings and expert advice - and even
arrange for an installer to fit the stove for you.
Only the Best Facilities
Product News
Your campers and glampers deserve the best facilities you can
give them, which is why Ecotoilets will only provide you with
the best.
Ecotoilets are odour-free, require no water into them and
produce no sewage from out of them.
“We, were designed neatly
and correctly, our humanure
comes from two separate
areas, so why mix the two
together with drinking water
and pay for the privilege of
having it all cleaned up and
sent back to you?” says the
company’s Susanne Saillet.
By keeping the two products
separate at source and there is
no smell, no anaerobic sewage
and no ammonia odour.
The solid matter we all
produce has all the natural
‘chemicals’ required in the
form of aerobic organisms.
When we use a WC or a
chemical toilet, we drown all
these wonderful bacteria,
which are like us oxygendependent.
When
oxygenated, the process of
aerobic digestion will commence, this breaks down the solids,
which will eventually turn into excellent compost. Urine,
non-toxic grey water can be diverted straight to ground.
The company’s toilet and shower cabins are solar-powered
with instant gas water heaters and eco showerheads to save
water. They come with anti- slip flooring, a lockable
cupboard for the gas heater and controls plus a sink within a
vanity unit.
Urine and shower water can be drained into a soakaway No
chemicals are used in this process; it is entirely natural and
will give your facility the much-respected Eco label.
Ecotoilets can also provide cabins with full disabled access
alarms etc. to approved document M standard.
The financial benefits of the Ecotoilets system are
incalculable. No sewage pipework, which can run into
thousands of pounds, no added electrical wiring, no pit
digging for the toilets. Their installers will come along first
thing in the morning erect the cabin or egloo fit it out and
by later that day you will have a fully functioning facility
