Campus Postal Services<br />
Campus Postal Services is responsible for the delivery, collection and<br />
processing of all interoffice and U.S. Postal Service mail to all university<br />
administrative offices.<br />
• Process incoming business correspondence to/for departments<br />
throughout the campus (USPS mail)<br />
• Meter correspondence for off-campus delivery:<br />
o Barcoding<br />
o Materials processing - Folding/Inserting/Sealing/Tabbing<br />
o Sorting<br />
o Traying<br />
o Banding<br />
o Delivering mailing to the Post Office<br />

Highlights<br />
• Spring 2014, became an<br />
Auxiliary unit.<br />
• Fall 2014, introduced bulk mail<br />
processing services.<br />
• Circulate internal correspondence that relates to university business<br />
and programs (campus interoffice mail)<br />

The Mail Services department is charged with ensuring the integrity and<br />
security of Kennesaw State University’s mail, and as such, must operate<br />
under the rules and regulations of the United States Postal Service (USPS)<br />
for the handling and delivery of mail and parcels. Once mail is delivered to<br />
the campus and received by Campus Postal Services, the responsibility of<br />
the USPS has been fulfilled. It then becomes the duty of Campus Postal<br />
Services employees to see that mail and packages are distributed<br />
appropriately and in a timely manner.<br />
