Coaching and Volunteering<br />
Stand out from the crowd volunteering<br />
or learning to coach!<br />
<strong>Team</strong> <strong>Surrey</strong> offers students a number of opportunities to volunteer<br />
at sporting events and sessions throughout the year.<br />
Volunteering looks great on your CV and will help you stand<br />
out to future employers. It will also give you essential work skills,<br />
networking opportunities and can also lead to paid work or<br />
funding for further courses.<br />
Previous opportunities have included Netball London Live,<br />
<strong>Surrey</strong> Half Marathon and the <strong>Surrey</strong> Youth Games.<br />
There are also regular opporunities to help run the <strong>Surrey</strong> Scorchers<br />
Basketball events at <strong>Surrey</strong> Sports Park throughout the season.<br />
Coaching / Officiating Bursaries<br />
<strong>Team</strong> <strong>Surrey</strong> is pleased to offer financial support<br />
for students who are keen to undertake sports<br />
coaching or officiating courses.<br />
