A bicolour-upholstery 

means you have the choice 

of two sorts of upholstery on 

your chair. This can be contrasting 

materials, such as a 

trendy leather | fabric combination, 

as well as a stylish 

ton-sûr-ton upholstery. 

You can get your piece of 

furniture with a personal 

label instead of the standard 

bert plantagie label. The personal 

label is black and can 

be executed with a name 

of your choice. This can be 

done by piece! 

Each bert plantagie chair, 

armchair and sofa can be 

ordered with a seam in a 

colour of your choice. Optionally, 

a decorative seam is 

also available. If the model 

is fitted with a zipper, it can 

also be ordered in a colour of 

your choice.

comfort, but the support 

frame of a different model 

appeals more to your specific 

taste. With a selection 

of the bert plantagie models 

you can mix and match the 

support and shell to your 

liking. In most cases you get 

to choose the colour, and 

option between a round or 

square legs by default. 

Depending on the surface 

of your floor and your 

personal preferences, with 

most chairs you can choose 

between synthetic caps, 

felt caps, or wheels. Have

furniture is done by 

hand, no welding 

robots are used.

CRAFTSMANSHIP 

The cover of each chair and sofa is stitched by hand. Especially 

the corners demand special care and knowledge. 

Did you know that crafting furniture is still done in 

traditional ways? Every chair, table, cabinet or sofa is (often) 

created mainly from natural materials by our experienced 

craftsmen by hand. All of this in Europe. This makes every 

product unique. For that reason, your furniture shall 

always show slight differences with other furniture. These 

characteristics are proof of you owning an original bert 

plantagie design piece and are a witness of your choice for 

authentic craftsmanship. 

Steel is delivered in long tubes and is bent and sawn 

into appropriate shapes by us into the support frame 

of your chair for example. 

Our wood specialists process all wood in our 

products using traditional ways. 

Our power drills are also handled by experienced 

professionals, because the exact location of drill 

holes is very specific. 

Wood is a beautiful natural resource. Working the 

right way with wood requires experience and love 

for your craft.
