PINBOARD Pinboard A ‘Mint’ Half Term to Remember Rain or shine there are plenty of ‘mint’ activities for the whole family to participate in this half term at The Royal Mint Experience. Whether it is getting up close and handling creepy crawlies, looking the part this Halloween or becoming adventurers amongst the stars. The Royal Mint Experience is ready to welcome all families and friends to be a part of these fun filled days. The Creepy Crawly Roadshow kick starts the half term on the 30th October, allowing you to get up close with the animals, hold them and learn some fascinating and fun facts along the way. The Royal Mint Experience will transform into a spooky site on the 31st October, with opportunities for you to join in on the ghostly celebrations. You can transform yourself into terrifying characters with some face paint as well as a chance for you to bring out your creative side with some balloon modelling. The 3rd November will bring an end to the half term entertainment, by taking you on an out of this world experience. You will have the opportunity to become explorers in space amongst the planets and the stars. The Royal Mint Experience provides a great opportunity to go behind the scenes and discover stories from The Royal Mint’s 1,000 year history. Discover how coins were made and how they are made today through a series of walk-through exhibition zones that bring the organisation’s rich heritage to life.
