ST. CUTHBERT EPISCOPAL SCHOOL<br />
<strong>2017</strong>-2018 REGISTRATION<br />
St. Cuthbert Episcopal School’s <strong>2017</strong>-2018 registration is underway<br />
and will continue each day during school hours until all of our classes<br />
are filled. We offer 2, 3 or 5 day classes, including a Bridge/Kindergarten<br />
class. St. Cuthbert School enrolls students ages 18 months through 5<br />
years. School hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 AM to 2 PM and Friday,<br />
9 AM to 12 noon.<br />
Our Bridge/Kindergarten program is designed for children who are<br />
not quite ready for kindergarten. This class allows children to succeed<br />
at learning with greater ease and confidence, by helping them bridge<br />
academic and developmental gaps. The St. Cuthbert School program<br />
provides a loving, Christian environment offering the children weekly<br />
chapel, as well as music and movement, library and computer classes.<br />
Our curriculum includes Handwriting without Tears, Reading A-Z, Math<br />
and Science. The program is open to all children, regardless of race,<br />
nationality or faith. St. Cuthbert School is accredited by the National<br />
Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC) accredited. For<br />

EPIPHANY FALL PRE-REGISTRATION<br />
FOR <strong>2017</strong>-18 SCHOOL YEAR<br />
If you are interested in our 18 month through Pre-K 4/5’s classes OR our<br />
School (K-8 th grade) classes for the Fall of <strong>2017</strong>, registration is open. For<br />

GENESIS ACADEMY LOCATED AT<br />
PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH<br />
The Genesis Academy is registering for the <strong>2017</strong>-2018 school year.<br />
We offer a mixed ages classroom for children ages 3-5. Our Preschool<br />
Program is from 9 AM-1 PM and we offer 2, 3, 4 or 5 day classes. Our<br />
Child Care is from 6:30 AM-6 PM, M-F. We are a State Licensed facility<br />
located at 16650 Longenbaugh Drive. Please call the office at 281-859-<br />

MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT<br />
Welcome back to school - again! I realize we are starting <strong>2017</strong>-2018<br />
a couple weeks later than we originally planned and I appreciate<br />
everyone’s patience during this difficult time.<br />
Certainly, Hurricane Harvey has proven to be a dynamic and<br />
unprecedented event for the CFISD community. So many of our<br />
neighbors have been displaced from their homes due to flooding<br />
and damage and we want to remember those folks in our thoughts<br />
and prayers and continue to provide support as they get back on<br />
their feet.<br />
You may have heard that Texas Commissioner of Education Mike<br />
Morath has waived the nine student days we have missed due to<br />
the flooding. I can assure you that our teachers and staff are going<br />
to provide each student with the same outstanding curriculum and<br />
instruction they would have received had we started on August 28 th .<br />
