Meet and Greet the Pastors<br />

Let’s face it. If you’re new to <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> or are looking for new ways to<br />
connect at church, it can be a lile overwhelming trying to sort through all<br />
the classes, events, programs and groups <strong>of</strong>fered at <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong>. We<br />
want to help you make sense <strong>of</strong> all the great <strong>of</strong>ferings and help you get<br />
connected. So grab a cup <strong>of</strong> c<strong>of</strong>fee with the pastors and get to know each<br />
other beer!<br />

In the class you will meet the pastors, hear what we believe and how we do<br />
ministry, make and enjoy a meal together, and spend me geng to know<br />
each other.<br />

Festival Chorus Rehearsals<br />
begin Wednesday, Nov. 8<br />
Please join Voices <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> and help<br />
us prepare for Fesval <strong>of</strong> Carols,<br />
which is on December 17. This year,<br />
we are pleased to have the Cavana<br />
String Quartet play with the choirs<br />
and the bells, which should prove to<br />
be a memorable experience for all<br />
who experience it!<br />
Singers high school age and older<br />
are welcome to parcipate, and children<br />
in 3rd through 6th grade can<br />
join in with Grace Choir, which rehearses<br />
on Thursdays from 6-7 PM<br />
beginning <strong>November</strong> 9. Make it a<br />
family acvity!<br />
Remember: Your talent is God’s gi<br />
to you. What you do with it is your<br />
gi to God.<br />
Women’s Christmas Luncheon<br />
Saturday, December 2 | 9:30-11:30 AM<br />
Come celebrate the Christmas season with the women we<br />
love! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to a Women’s<br />
Christmas Luncheon with featured storyteller and speaker,<br />
Pa Kachel.<br />
Pa inspires listeners through stories and programs about the<br />
abundant life found in Jesus Christ. She entertains audiences in churches,<br />
retreat centers, conference centers, and more. Memorable and meaningful, Pa's stories are humorous,<br />
heartwarming and above all, Christ-focused. She shares through storytelling, singing,<br />
teaching, and tesmony.<br />
Registraon Begins <strong>November</strong> 5—The cost for the luncheon is $15. Register at the Informaon Desk or at<br />
word<strong>of</strong>peace.org/events. Each luncheon table will be specially decorated for Christmas by <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> women. If you<br />
would like to decorate a table or help with the luncheon, please contact Krisn Skare at kskare@word<strong>of</strong>peace.org or call<br />
