Operation Christmas Child<br />
<strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong> is honored to be a Relay<br />
Center for Operaon Christmas Child<br />
again this year. Simply fill a shoebox or<br />
a small plasc container with a variety<br />
<strong>of</strong> gis that will bring delight to a child<br />
(please, no liquids or anything that can<br />
melt) and drop it <strong>of</strong>f at <strong>Word</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peace</strong><br />
during Naonal Collecon Week, <strong>November</strong><br />
13-20.<br />
Detailed instrucons and a limited number <strong>of</strong> shoeboxes will be available<br />
soon. Visit samaritanspurse.org/operaon-christmas-child to find out more.<br />
Volunteers are needed to help collect shoeboxes during Naonal Collecon<br />
Week, and drivers are needed to make deliveries to Beauful Savior <strong>Church</strong> in<br />
Plymouth on <strong>November</strong> 19 & 20. If you would like to volunteer, please contact<br />

the Operaon Christmas Child table in the Gathering Area.<br />
Help Beautify the<br />
Sanctuary for Christmas!<br />
Poinseas may be ordered from <strong>November</strong><br />
12-26 in the Gathering Area. They will<br />
be used to decorate the Sanctuary<br />
through Christmas Day, then you can pick<br />
them up to enjoy at home. Plants are $10<br />
each and are available in red or white.<br />

Volunteer for Meals on Wheels<br />
Delivering meals is a great way to support<br />
your community, make new friends, provide<br />
a team-building opportunity in your<br />
workplace, and involve the enre family.<br />
You’re not just providing someone with a<br />
nutrious meal, you’re making sure they receive the human connecon<br />

Kids’ treats, popcorn, snacks, canned stew, paper & plasc grocery<br />

<strong>Church</strong> School Kids are bringing in their<br />
loose change <strong>of</strong>fering to church school in<br />
<strong>November</strong> and December for God’s Global<br />
Barnyard. A program <strong>of</strong> the ELCA World<br />
Hunger Campaign, God’s Global Barnyard<br />
creates sustainable living opons for families<br />
around the world by providing livestock,<br />
resources, and educaon.<br />
You, too, will have the opportunity to<br />
sponsor animals to break the cycle <strong>of</strong> hunger<br />
and poverty around the world. Look<br />
