Casa Passiva privata. Intervento in area living con finitura Blumohito a tutta
parete, in cui l’acqua bagna una sola sezione. L’installazione gestisce la
percentuale di umidità dell’ambiente grazie ad un sistema domotico che attiva
e disattiva il flusso d’acqua in base ai parametri impostati.

SAG è un rivestimento vegetale vivente realizzato con specie vegetali stabilizzate provenienti
dal Nord Europa. E’ un’installazione verticale dal forte impatto emozionale che viene
percepita non solo per la straordinaria presenza del vegetale, ma anche per il significativo
contributo che l’installazione fornisce alla riduzione del riverbero e all’attenuazione dei
rumori di fondo. La conformazione del vegetale amplifica le proprietà fonoassorbenti del
supporto, innalzando il livello di benessere ambientale.

SAG Wall is a vegetal wall made of stabilized plant species from northern Europe for interior
projects requirements. It is a vertical installation with a strong emotional impact, that is felt
in the first instance for the extraordinary presence of the smooth vegetal, and later for the
significant contribution that the installation provides for glare reduction and dampening of
background noise. The vegetal finishing surface improves the acoustic properties of the
substrate to which it is coupled, further improving the acoustic performances to raise the
level of environmental friendliness.

01 THE WATER WALL
Water Wall is an interior water feature created to blend with the environment. The technology used to operate the
system enables fully automated control of the cycles and the regulation of the water film to ensure appropriate
evaporation. The water wall increases the rate of evaporation when the moisture in the environmental air drops
below normal. The Water Wall is capable of completely autonomous operation, and in addition, special sensors
enable interfacing with existing domotics systems. Safety of the elements is guaranteed by specially configured
control systems.
02 COMPONENTS
The installation consists of a structural panel fixed to the wall, with an air gap left in between for adequate
ventilation. The surface of the water wall is coated with a material that is treated to ensure its suitability for use
with water and to ensure a smooth surface for the water to run over. The plumbing is connected to the structure
in such a way as to ensure that the picture functions correctly and that a continuous film of water runs over the
surface. The stainless steel technical tank is sized according to specific project requirements and contains all the
hydraulic components needed for the water cycle, including high output pumps and safety sensors.
03 AUTOMATION
The water cycle is automatic, and the replacement of evaporated water can be automatic. The optional kit allows
automatic water inflow and outflow and must therefore be connected to the hydraulic system of the building site.
Water consumption depends on numerous environmental factors (temperature, humidity, dimensions, hours of
operation…), consequently exact evaporation data is possible only once the installation is in place and running.
04 WATER TREATMENT
In order to prevent limescale buildup over time, the water wall must run only on demineralised water. A reverse
osmosis filter for water treatment is supplied, and, depending on the dimensions of the water film area, as well as
on the characteristics of the local water supply, the installation will be fitted with a suitable water treatment plant,
as well as additional quatz sand filter or anti algae dispenser.

05 MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to periodically clean the water wall by removing buildup and limescale, and by cleaning the
filters. The reverse osmosis device requires maintenance as set out in the related technical sheet.

be prepared in compliance with specific instructions supplied by a Blumohito technician.
07 WARRANTY
Blumohito guarantees the workmanship, accuracy and quality of all its products. The warranty excludes wilful
intent and negligence. In particular, the plant must not be permitted to run with water levels below the minimum.
The warranty is limited to conformity defects of the installed work that may appear during the period of validity and
depends on the regular payment of invoices as per the terms and conditions.

01 SMART ACOUSTIC GREEN TECHNOLOGY
Smart Acoustic Green is an innovative evergreen covering, made from a Scandinavian plant species which has
been specifically designed for interior design projects. With Smart Acoustic Green, Blumohito creates vertical
installations that provide a strong emotional impact, initially because of the extraordinary presence of the plant,
but then also because of the installation’s considerable contribution to reducing reverberation and mitigating
background noise. The conformation of the plant amplifies the sound absorbing properties of the support to which
it is coupled in the laboratory, which further improves its acoustic performance and thus enhancing environmental
wellbeing.
02 COMPONENTS
The installation consists of a sound absorbing laminated fire retardant, B-s2/ d0, panel on which a very dense,
uniform covering of the plant is placed and assembled by hand then made to adhere permanently to the backing.
This procedure guarantees total plant coverage right from the initial stage of the installation. The plant adapts
perfectly to indoor environments and feeds on moisture and airborne substances. Its colour – which is determined
during the stabilization stage – does not contain any harmful toxic or noxious substances and it does not fade
over time. Some installation types can be fitted with a decorative frame. In some cases the installation can also be
provided with scenographic lighting. Total thickness panel+vegetal 600/650 mm.
03 CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Blumohito’s Smart Acoustic Green lives well in low light or no light situations. The plant does not require
photostimulation. To ensure optimal maintenance over time, a minimum relative humidity value of 50% must be
guaranteed in the room, and the plant should not be placed near air conditioners, fan coils, sunlight or direct heat
sources. If the soft feel of the touch temporarily dries, simply readjust the humidity level of the room. SAG must
not be watered.
04 INSTALLATION
Our multi-panel custom production, with assembly guide and numbered panels that are cut to measure, greatly
improves installation easiness (less time on the building site, less hassle) and grants the best results. Furthermore,
our hand-finished vegetal coating process keeps density and shade under control, so for the big surfaces our
technique is both more convenient (no need of re-cutting) and quicker to assemble. See at pages 7 and 8 two
installation options, depending on the type of background wall.

05 WARRANTY
Blumohito guarantees the workmanship, accuracy, and quality of all its products. The warranty also covers
installation when carried out directly by Blumohito. The warranty excludes wilful intent and negligence, and it is
limited to conformity defects of the installed work that may appear during the period of validity. Its validity depends
also on the regular payment of invoices as per the terms and conditions.
