How long have you been a tattoo artist?
I have been tattooing for 6 years.
Do you remember the first tattoo that you ever done?
My first tattoo that has started everything was a portrait of a
tiger that I have done on myself, which back then I kind of
though it looked like a tiger.
How would you describe your tattooing style?
The style I do is surrealism and realism but my favourite
tattoos are dark tattoos with a lot of blood and pain.
Where is the most difficult place for you to tattoo someone?
The places that I dislike tattooing will have to be neck and
ribs.
Do you have any tatts? How many?
I have never counted my tattoo’s but majority of them has
some sort of meaning to me and currently I am collecting
tattoos of friends that also tattoo and there amazing style
like Tofi Torfinski.
Did you do any of them yourself?
Yes, I have done around 7 tattoo’s on myself but for me
Should drunk people get inked?
If we’re talking about people that are drunk or people that
are under some drug, I am absolutely against tattooing them
because in today’s world a tattoo is Art on skin instead of on
a canvas
What is the most bizarre tattoo you have ever put on someone?
Some other weird tattoo’s I have done are angel wings near
the private parts on a woman.
What tattoo artists, if any, do you draw inspiration from?
The 2 of the people I look up to are Bob Tyrell and Nikko
Hurtado.
What’s the secret to being a great tattoo artist?
Getting satisfaction in what you do it’s not the money that
play a big part it’s the motivation and trying to become the
best and not stopping until I get there,
Who is your favorite tattoo artist?
Depending on the style id have to say black and grey Bob
Tyrrell and colour it would have to be Nikko Hurtado or
Steve Butcher.
Henry Sieranski
I’d much rather test something out on yourself then your
customer.
Do you let your friends tatt you up up for practice?
The 2 people that have practice on my skin are the 2 most
important people in my life, my older son who has tattooed
our Siberian Husky in a geometric style, and my younger
son who has tattooed me twice... once ,when he was 5,
where he tattooed Sponge Bob on my leg. And also at the
age of 12, where he tattooed my old tattoo studio logo.
What is your craziest story?
Hmmn... there are a couple of crazy stories ,but the one that
I will never forget is a customer wanting a Nike logo on his
hand so he could get a discount from Nike.
Words of advice for anyone that wants to become a tattoo
artist?
My biggest tip for the people that have just started tattooing
or planning of becoming a tattoo artist is practicing your
drawings and paintings, it will definitely help you build the
skill you need, I personally never looked at tattooing as a
job but a hobby and doing something I enjoy for a living.
Where can we get inked by you and see more of your work?
You can see me in person or even see more of my work at
Tattoo Conventions mainly around Europe or even at Cool
Creations Tattoo Studio in Birmingham and Liverpool or
even Social Media, Facebook, Instagram @Henry Viper
Sieranski
