Here are three popular activities you can enjoy in the land of
four wild rivers.
GEOCACHING
Rusk County is a great geocaching destination, offering
wonderful scenery and dozens of caches located near Rusk
County’s beautiful rivers. For those who have never geocached
before, Rusk County is the perfect place to learn. It’s essentially
a high-tech treasure hunt that relies on a GPS device, like a
smartphone. Geocaching is a fun way for everyone in your travel
party to spend time together in the outdoors year-round. All you
need is a GPS unit, cache coordinates and away you go. If you
don’t have a phone to use, handheld GPS units are available to
rent at the Rusk County Visitor Center for a nominal fee.
GOLF
Rusk County golf courses offer the perfect blend of quality play
