Guidelines

General Guidelines
- Light setup must be consistent in all images.
- Pictures should always be well lit, they should never be under or overexposed with moderate light contrast.
- Never use an on camera flash.
- Avoid hard/direct reflections on products.
- Do not use a wide aperture.
- Use a tripod for consistency of angles.
- Use a long lens, never use a wide lens. (> 70mm)
- Make sure there are no colour cast/hue in the picture.
- Use a colour checker or a grey card to achieve the right white balance and true colours.
- Each item should be photographed from every possible angle without exceeding the limit of 7 pictures.

Photography Guidelines

Apparel Light Setup Guidelines
- Backlight: 2 Octaboxes (90cm)
- 1 octabox (90cm) in front of the model on the
ground.
- 1 octabox (120cm) in front of the model at 45
degrees from the top.
- Rim light: 1 beauty dish (40cm) with a grid.
- Camera on tripod.
- Recommended camera: Canon 5D with
24-105mm lens.

Flat Light Setup Guidelines
- Backlight: 1 beauty dish (40cm)
- 1 octabox (150cm) on top.
- 1 horizontal stripbox (120x30cm) at 45
degrees from the left.
- 1 reflector on the right.
- Camera on tripod.
- Recommended camera: Canon 5D with
24-105mm lens.

Rings Light Setup Guidelines
- Backlight: 1 beauty dish (40cm)
- 1 octabox (150cm) on top.
- Silver Reflector on the right
- Silver Reflector on the left
- Recommended camera: Canon 5D with
24-105mm lens.
