<strong>Guidelines</strong>
General <strong>Guidelines</strong><br />
- Light setup must be consistent in all images.<br />
- Pictures should always be well lit, they should never be under or overexposed with moderate light contrast.<br />
- Never use an on camera flash.<br />
- Avoid hard/direct reflections on products.<br />
- Do not use a wide aperture.<br />
- Use a tripod for consistency of angles.<br />
- Use a long lens, never use a wide lens. (> 70mm)<br />
- Make sure there are no colour cast/hue in the picture.<br />
- Use a colour checker or a grey card to achieve the right white balance and true colours.<br />
- Each item should be photographed from every possible angle without exceeding the limit of 7 pictures.
<strong>Retouching</strong> <strong>Guidelines</strong>
Picture files should be:<br />
- Less than 200 KB in size<br />
- 850x850 pixels<br />
- White background (FFFFFF)<br />
- Saved for web<br />
- Saved in sRGB colour space<br />
- Maximum 7 images in total per item<br />
- Natural shadows should be left.<br />
- Make sure there is no colour cast/hue in<br />
the picture.
