rising to 79% on Advanced Apprenticeships.

Ofsted
We were visited by 4 Ofsted inspectors in
November 2015 who looked at all of our learning
provision across Nottingham, Derby and within
employer premises. Inspectors look at 4 main
areas: Leadership and Management, Quality of
Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Outcomes
for Learners, Personal Development, Behaviour
and Welfare.
We were delighted to maintain our Grade 2 ‘Good’
status and particularly happy with comments
praising our “commitment to high quality
teaching, learning and assessment and
excellent learning opportunities.”
Matrix Standard
The Matrix Standard assesses and measures the
quality of advice and support services provided to
clients which ultimately supports their choice of
career, learning, work and life goals. Our assessor
visited Access in May 2016, spending time with
staff, the Board, learners and employers and we
were thrilled to maintain our accreditation. The
report commended our “high levels of
professional integrity” and recognised one of our
key values that “the learner is very much at the
heart of your work”.
