He can play with his friends all day long.<br />

outside in the snow with his friends.<br />

It’s very cold out on Saturday morning.<br />
<strong>Henry</strong> wants it to be warm.<br />
He goes back to his house to put on his<br />
warm hat.<br />

friends.<br />
He is happy and warm with his red hat on<br />
his head.<br />
<strong>Henry</strong> finds some rocks for a snowman’s<br />

He sees all of his friends playing in the snow.<br />

A big wind blows at <strong>Henry</strong>.<br />
The wind blew <strong>Henry</strong>’s hat right off of his<br />

Boy, that big wind blew <strong>Henry</strong>’s hat into the<br />

You would think <strong>Henry</strong>’s hat had wings.<br />

The big wind blew <strong>Henry</strong>’s hat up over the<br />
houses and into the clouds.<br />

He is happy to see something red.<br />
It was not <strong>Henry</strong>’s hat at all.<br />
A pretty red cardinal was all that it was.<br />

All of <strong>Henry</strong>’s friends join together to look<br />

He thanks all of his friend’s for helping him to<br />

because a big wind blew it right off of his<br />

outside to play without his red hat.<br />

The doorbell rings and <strong>Henry</strong> opens the<br />

He is surprised to see his friends.<br />

About the Author<br />
Linda Margulis-Yant, a native of Burlington County, New Jersey, is a<br />
first-time author. Linda is happily married to her husband Jack - her<br />
staunchest fan. She is also a mother and grandmother, roles in which<br />
she embraces. Linda has a diverse background. She spent 30 years in<br />
the corporate sector and since then she has devoted her time to<br />
hypnotherapy and children’s stories.<br />
As you can see, she is a gifted artist as well. Linda has honed her craft<br />
without the benefit of formal instruction.
