Vivo Energy Ghana celebrates customers on Contact Customer Day
THE MANAGEMENT and staff of
Vivo Energy Ghana have embarked
on their annual Shell Customer Contact
Day to thank customers for their
loyalty and patronage with a number
of giveaways and to solicit their feedback.
This year’s Customer Contact Day
was created under the theme ‘Winning
with customers through Continuous
Engagement’ and offered staff
of Vivo Energy to interact with customers
and offered them first hand
services which included filling their
tanks, cleaning windscreens and sharing
goodies with them.
The Managing Director of Vivo
Energy Ghana, Mr Ebenezer
Faulkner said great companies are the
ones that get and stay ahead by engaging
their customers regularly through
several contact points, all with the
purpose of enriching the relationship.
“The Shell brand in Ghana could
not have been successful for the past
89 years without a long term relationship
with our customers, " he explained.
"Our products are consumer-led
and driven by our passion to exceed
the needs of our customers. We will
continue to make our customer experiences
at our Shell service stations
memorable.” said Mr Faulkner.
In addition, Mr Faulkner said that
Vivo Energy will continue to be at the
forefront of driving innovations, providing
high quality fuels for all pockets,
high quality convenience shops,
strong customer service, brand preference,
and food partnerships to continue
to be part of our customers’
lives.
A customer who visited the Airport
Shell service station said “the
older the wine the better it tastes. We
have known Shell for so many years
for its quality products and services.
No wonder every fuel station in
Ghana is referred to as ‘Petrol Shell’. I
want to encourage Shell to keep up
the good work.”
The Retail Manager of Vivo Energy
Ghana, Mr Kwame Ackah used
the occasion to encourage all motorists
to buy GH¢60 of fuel from
the Shell Drive Challenge on the Shell
drivers on the Shell Drive Challenge –
a programme aimed at encouraging
drivers to drive efficiently, and also
which gives free tips on efficient driving
to cut down on fuel consumption.
Vivo Energy continues the expansion
of Shell service stations across
the country to make them more accessible
to customers. The recent
opening of the state of the art,
Haatso Shell service station, with
partners such as KFC, MBJ Pharmacy,
Exotic trends, and ATM Farms
is testament to the convenience that
the company wants to bring to its
customers.
Bosch to support
manufactures in Ghana
BY BENJAMIN TANDOH
IN ORDER to promote industrialisation in
the country, Bosch Ghana Limited, representatives
of the world leading providers of
power tools in the country, is preparing to
offer support to manufacturing industries at a
flexible rate.
The power tool manufacturers are prepared to
offer their services and equipment to manufacturers
at a lower cost.
Speaking to the DAILY HERITAGE during
the commissioning of their ultra-modern office in
Accra yesterday, Mr Emmanuel Agyei, Managing
Director, Bosch Ghana, explained that they are
committed to supporting the economic growth of
the country.
He added that, they have commenced with the
process and have contacted some key stakeholders
to ensure that they offer Ghanaians with the right
services.
“We’ve contacted banks and insurance companies
to partner us. We are in a process of bringing
all these people together and present the offer to
Ghanaians.
• Mr Emmanuel Agyei (M), Managing Director, Bosch Ghana with some members
of the technical team at a press briefing in their new office
“As a company which has a global presence, we
are thinking of a way to help Ghana as a country,
and customise solutions to the country,” he said.
Mr Agyei added that they have submitted their
proposal to the government to provide technical
support for the implementation of the ‘one district,
one factory’ policy proposed by the government.
“Our interest in the ‘one district, one factory’
programme is in the packaging technology. With
this technology we will help provide package and
process farm produce to last longer and make it
appealing on the international market,” he said.
He was of the view that, their status as the only
supplier of technology with its office in the country
makes it easy to contact and work effectively
with their customers.
Training artisans
A total of 5, 000 artisans are expected to benefit
from a training programme by Bosch Ghana,
commencing this month and expected to end on
March 6, 2018.
The training is aimed at equipping local professionals
and artisanal users with the right power
tools.
Speaking to the press, Mr Benjy Ofori, Regional
Sales Director of Power Tools, West and
Central Africa, said the programme will further
give the beneficiaries the ability to create products
that are ready for the world market.
This, Mr Ofori argued, will help local artisans
to compete on the international market and produce
quality and finished products and services.
