Suggested Itinerary 

Day 1 Day 2 

Depart school in the morning and arrive 

London. Visit one of London’s top museums 

or attractions such as the The Design 

Museum. Alternatively, take a flight on 

the London Eye for magnificent views over 

London. 

After your visit, take a group meal with 

your students to one of our selection of 

restaurants, such as Pizza Hut, Hard Rock 

Café or Planet Hollywood (contact us for full 

meal options). 

After your breakfast, check-out of the hotel 

and make your way to your first visit another 

London attraction, such as The Cartoon 

Museum, Fullers Griffin Brewery or Museum 

of Domestic Design & Architecture. 

Have a packed lunch and then make your 

way to the Warner Brothers Studio and 

the amazing ‘The Making of Harry Potter’ 

experience. Following this, make your way 

back to your institute. 

After your meal, take a trip to the West End 

to view one of London’s tip theatre shows. 

Following this you will travel to your hotel 

and check-in.

FLORENCE

The enticing city of Florence is a great choice trip for your Design 

and Technology students, allowing your group to explore Design 

and Technology from design origins through to finished product. 

Not only is Florence the home of Leonardo da Vinci and home to 

a museum dedicated to this master, it also close by to the likes of 

luxurious Italian supercar brands including Lamborghini and Ferrari. 

Students will have the opportunity to visit museums dedicated 

to these superbrands, in addition to having the opportunity to 

take your group to the Ducati Motorcycle Factory and expose your 

students to the manufacturing process. 

There are also numerous Food Technology related visits available in 

the Tuscany region, an area famed for its cuisine and high quality 

produce. Students can learn from cookery classes and visiting local 

produce farms.

Day 1 

Depart from the UK to Pisa, upon arrival, 

you’ll be transferred by coach to Florence 

(approx 1-1.5hrs). After checking into your 

hotel you may have some free time in the 

city to explore, subject to your flight times. If 

this is the case, we highly recommend a visit 

to the famous Piazza della Signoria and Piazza 

del Duomo or one of the galleries such as 

the Bargello or Uffizi. 

Day 2 

Start the day and have breakfast with your 

group before being transferred to the Enzo 

Ferrari Museum and explore the history of 

the prancing horse. Here your students have 

the opportunity to attend engaging workshops 

with a focus on technical-scientific, 

team-building and marketing. 

Then have a group lunch before visiting 

the Ducati Museum and Factory, here your 

students will learn about the 90-year history 

of the company as well as witness the 

manufacturing process and stage by stage 

assembly lines of the motorbikes. 

Spend your evening in Florence and enjoy a 

group evening meal. 

Day 3 

On your third day, your group will proceed to 

the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and learn 

about the history and craftsmanship involved 

in the creation of Ferragamo brands. Then 

enjoy a group lunch after your visit. 

Day 4 

After breakfast, check-out of your hotel, you 

may have some free time to explore this city. 

Then proceed to your airport transfer to Pisa 

and return to the UK. 

Your trip will then be followed by a visit to 

the Silver Museum in the Pitti Palace and 

discover sophisticated collections of ivory, 

jewellery, silver miniatures and Chinese & 

Japanese porcelain. 

Travel back to Florence and enjoy a group 

evening meal.

Day 1 

Fly from the UK to Berlin. Take your airport 

transfer and proceed to your accommodation 

for check-in. Why not take your students out 

and enjoy a group evening meal. 

Day 2 

Have breakfast at your accommodation 

before you go to the Bauhaus Museum. Here, 

your students will discover one of the most 

important and influential schools of design, 

art and architecture in the 20th Century. 

After lunch, visit the BMW Motorcycle Plant 

and see the manufacturing process involved 

creating BMW motorcycles. Your students will 

witness various stages of production such as 

the machining shop, engine assembly, paint 

shop to logistics. 

Then take your group for an evening meal 

before you return to your accommodation. 

Day 3 

On day 3 you will visit the German Museum 

of Technology where students will discover 

a large collection of technical artefacts 

that dates back over 120 years. From film 

technology, transportation, aerospace to 

manufacturing process. After this, take your 

students on a group evening meal before 

proceeding back to your accommodation. 

Day 4 

Subject to flight times, you may have some 

free time before you proceed back to the 

airport for your departing flight.

interest) and we will forward a detailed quotation 

complete with full information pack. 

Once you are happy with your quotation and you have 

chosen your preferred departure dates we can check 

all the necessary availability and hold a non committal 

option for you. 

STEP 5: Tour Operations 

STEP 6: Final Itinerary 

Your dedicated Tour Co-ordinator will work with you to 

ensure that all the required visits and excursions are 

booked and that the final itinerary is constructed to 

meet your group’s requirements. 

We will forward your final itinerary for your approval 

complete with all required information including any 

vouchers or tickets where required.
