CHARLIE SALTER
PORTSMOUTH ISLAND REDHEAD
LOT NO. 3
ABOUT THIS DECOY
This exceptional Charlie Salter (1907 to
1960) redhead was made on Portsmouth
Island. This decoy is extremely rare as it is
made entirely of juniper; most surviving
examples of his work are made of cork or
balsa made while he lived at Atlantic.
