NAUTIL<br />
Resulting from a mould-breaking structural i<strong>de</strong>a, this sofa is formed by the joining of two<br />
shells around a diagonal line. The structure is highlighted by a pad<strong>de</strong>d seat and backrest held<br />
in place by lines of stitching radiating in a fan-like pattern. Oversized leather piping draws<br />
attention to the contours of the shape of the sofa. A contrast is created between the taut line<br />
of the back and the duvet-like softness of the interior, reminiscent of a pad<strong>de</strong>d jacket and of<br />
the shape of a shell. Nautil illustrates how for Cédric Ragot technique must bring i<strong>de</strong>as to life:<br />
here, the creative audacity of the 1970s is combined with digital stitching.<br />
