Brazilian-born and <strong>Brighton</strong>-based fine art<br />

photographer Andre Lichtenberg has an<br />

exhibition at 35 North Gallery until the 16th.<br />

His award-winning photographic studies of<br />

the environment and architecture explore<br />

his fascination with the complex and fragile<br />

relationship between man and nature.<br />

An exhibition of John Piper’s work opens at <strong>Brighton</strong><br />

Museum & Art Gallery on the 12th. The significance<br />

of his <strong>Brighton</strong> Aquatints book - published in November<br />

1939 - in his artistic development is widely recognised, but<br />

has never before been explored in detail. This display will<br />

include related books,<br />

letters, sketches, prints and<br />

designs, and is curated by<br />

architectural and design<br />

historian Alan Powers.<br />

Gluck: Art & Identity, a major<br />

new exhibition of the life and work of the 20th century artist and pioneer<br />

of gender fluidity, continues alongside. [brightonmuseums.org.uk] Collage<br />

artist Julie Kuyath is creating whimsical Christmas windows for i gigi in<br />

Hove, featuring a sparkling snow globe and white peacock. Raffle tickets are<br />

available in both the boutique and general store, with a chance to win prizes<br />

including the featured prints. Proceeds go to support Macmillan Cancer<br />

Trust, in particular the recently opened Horizon Cancer Centre.<br />
