Michigan Area Bishop David Alan Bard has<br />
appointed Reverend Rosaline D. Green as newly<br />
appointed associate pastor of Hope United<br />
Methodist Church, Southfield, Michigan<br />
effective December 1, <strong>2017</strong>.<br />
She became a member of Hope in 1998 and has<br />
served in many areas of the church and currently is<br />
serving as a direct hire Executive Pastor at Hope<br />
United Methodist Church.<br />
In 2003, she received a Bachelor’s Degree from<br />
Destiny School of Ministry with Studies in Pastoral<br />
Ministry and a Master’s of Theology Degree from<br />
Destiny Christian University in 2008. On November<br />
12, <strong>2017</strong> Reverend Rosaline celebrated the<br />
completion of training received from the Michigan<br />
Area License Local Pastor School sponsored by the<br />
United Methodist Church.<br />

Reverend Green was married to the late Rev. John A. Green Sr. for 38 years. She<br />
began serving with him at Grace CME in Detroit in 1967. She has four adult<br />
children, Faith, Alisa, John Jr. and Ja’Net, two son-in-law’s Gregory and Khary. 6<br />
grandchildren Tamara, Taylor, Kolby and Kyden (who is now with the angles and his<br />
granddad in heaven), Gregory and Olivia. Their oldest daughter, Rev. Faith Green<br />
Timmons is a UMC Elder serving as Senior Pastor at Bethel UMC in Flint.<br />
We praise God for the leadership of Rev. Rosaline Green and look forward to how<br />
God will use her in this new appointment.<br />
We will celebrate Rev. Green on Sunday, December 10, <strong>2017</strong>.<br />
