one of the first and biggest art exhibition in<br />

Nigeria on the 3rd to 5th of November <strong>2017</strong>. Civic<br />

Centre Lagos had thousands of persons walking<br />

in to see the displayed art works. Galleries such<br />

as N’gone Fall was curated by Modupe Fadugba,<br />

more.Some other galleries that exhibited works<br />

WCW was curated by Missel a Libseka and much<br />

of some artists include SMO Contemporary<br />

which exhibited works of Anthony Nsofor.<br />

Retro Africa exhibited the works of Chinwe Uwatse and Muraina Oyelami. Gallery<br />

1957 exhibited works of Ghanaian artist Jeremiah Quarshie, Tafeta exhibited<br />

works of Babajide Olatunji. Whitespace Agency exhibited Dipo Doherty and<br />

Queen Nwaneri. Arthouse Contemporary exhibited Kainebi Osahenye and lots<br />

more. It was indeed a time for reflection and learning for younger artists and art<br />

lovers. Some famous artist graced the event .Such famous artists like Peju Alatise,<br />

Victor Etuk, Duke Asidere, Rom Isichei, Polly alakija and so many others were<br />

there to contribute to the success of the exhibition. It was a beautiful sight to<br />

behold, having some dignitaries, VIPs, art lovers, upcoming artists and famous<br />

artist all in one location at a particular time. Artworks on display ranged from<br />

Paintings, installations, sculptural pieces, mixed media, explorative art works,<br />

photography, graphic designs and drawings. Absolute thrilled guests with well<br />

mixed drinks, while Olalekan Jeyifous provided ‘’the colouring bus’’ for guest to<br />

display their artistic talents and also have fun. Civic Centre was like a bee hive as<br />

participants and guest mingled and networked. It was indeed a day to remember<br />

in the life of any artist/art lover/art critic in attendance.<br />
