LED Light Therapy
What does this treatment promise? LED light therapy
can be administered using light panels or a LED light
face mask. Red light stimulates collagen and accelerates
healing so is good for treating rosacea and fine lines from
sun damage, as well as being great after a chemical peel.
Blue light is an excellent treatment for acne, killing the
bacteria on the skin that are associated with acne, reducing
oiliness and breakouts and clearing spots. A combination
LED light therapy is a great anti-ageing treatment to
improve skin texture, tone, pores and fine lines.
Does it hurt? No. You will feel relaxed
and may experience a warm glow.
How long does it take? 20 minutes.
How long will the treatment last? You will
notice results after just one session but best
results are seen after regular sessions.
Can I go out that evening?
Absolutely! There are no side effects or downtime.
Finally the cost! £60 per session
Skin Quality Therapy
What does this treatment promise? Skin quality therapies
involve hyaluronic acid being injected into the top layers of
the skin to help plump the skin and reduce the appearance
of fine lines. They deliver deep skin hydration, smoothing
skin texture and giving skin a natural glow. Skin laxity
can also be improved. Areas that can be treated include
the face, neck, décolletage, hands and upper arms.
Does it hurt? No. Local anaesthetic cream is
applied to the area to be treated and a very
fine needle is used for the injections.
How long does it take? Around 15 minutes.
How long will the treatment last and how many
sessions are required? Some treatments will require a
single session, while others will require 2 treatments four
weeks apart. The results will last up to 9 months.
Can I go out that evening? Yes, but you should not wear
make-up until the next day. You may have some visible lumps
on the skin but these will usually settle in a few hours and
there is the risk that you may get some pin-prick bruises.
