<strong>December</strong> 1 st - Ring in the season with the 87 th Annual Mayor’s<br />
Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting in the heart of downtown<br />
Houston. The spectacular event is a holiday tradition of music,<br />
Santa, fireworks and family fun. A towering Holiday Tree, glowing<br />
with energy efficient LED lights, shimmering ornaments and a<br />
stunning star topper will light up the streets of downtown Houston<br />
this holiday season. The event takes place in Hermann Square at<br />
City Hall from 6 to 8 PM and is free and open to the public.<br />
<strong>December</strong> 1 st -2 nd - Rosenberg Christmas Nights. Rosenberg<br />
Christmas Nights is a holiday event with an array of nightly<br />
activities to kick off the holiday season. Visitors can explore<br />
downtown Rosenberg’s eclectic shops, cultural exhibits and<br />
restaurants while strolling through the holiday lights. Weekend<br />
events also include the Lighting of the City Christmas Tree, Dinner<br />
Under the Stars, Miss Merry Christmas Pageant and a variety of<br />

<strong>December</strong> 1 st -3 rd - Dickens on the Strand. The annual holiday<br />
street festival, based on 19 th -century Victorian London, features<br />
parades, non-stop entertainment on five stages, strolling<br />
carolers, roving musicians, bagpipers, jugglers and a host of other<br />
entertainers. The event will be held at the historic strand district<br />

Navigation Esplanade between St. Charles and Delano Streets,<br />
at 2600 Navigation, 77003. Street parking is available along curbs<br />

lots and Guadalupe Plaza Park. We encourage guests to ride their<br />

Christmas Market. Come and enjoy the family-friendly ambience<br />
- Gemütlichkeit - of this unique music/street festival with three<br />
stages of live music and an open-air market along with antique<br />
shops in the old town area. Tap your feet to the musical sounds<br />
of performers like The Chardon Polka Band, Chris Rybak, Yodel<br />
Blitz, Das Ist Lustig, Tubameisters, Valina and get into the festive<br />
spirit with the sounds of strolling Christmas carolers. It’s a Texas<br />
German celebration at Christmas time on the old downtown<br />
streets of Tomball Texas. An estimated 163 unique and interesting<br />
street vendors will line Market and S. Walnut Streets, selling<br />
